In a clip shared by Kensington Palace on its YouTube channel last year, the pair played a doubles match on Court 3, where Federer won his opening match en route to his first Wimbledon title 20 years ago, to highlight the work of ball boys at the tournament.

However, the Princess also took the opportunity to try and get some training advice from the former world number one.
“Any advice on my serve at the moment would be very helpful,” he said. But Federer only responded with a compliment: “The serve looks good.”
Tennis enthusiast Kate said: ‘Wimbledon is famous for its incredibly professional ball girls.
“It’s amazing to see the amount of work that goes into it behind the scenes,” he said before taking to the pitch for the match: “It’s great to see you, Roger.”
