Kate Langbroek says that she was imprisoned in Italy because she has made her four children a ‘better mother’
She has just spent 10 weeks in Italy with her family amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And Saturday, Kate Langbroek revealed that it has made her a “better mother” to her four children.
The 54-year-old radio personality shared a sweet photo of herself and her son Artie, 12, standing on a staircase near their Bologna apartment.

“Our lockdown has made me a better mother. Isn’t that something amazing? she wrote in the Instagram caption.
In the picture, Kate wears a chic navy outfit and beams when her son is behind her.
Kate’s fans were quick to praise her for how she coped during the difficult period.

Kate and husband Peter Lewis moved to Bologna, Italy in January 2019, with their four children, Lewis, 16, Sunday, 15, Artie, 12, and Jan, nine.
It was supposed to be a ‘family gap year’, but they decided to extend the break by 12 months.
However, it was not all smooth sailing, with the region where they live in a stage-four lockdown in early March.

Kate appeared as a guest quiz master on Have You Been Paying Attention? via a video link and asked what she found most difficult about her apartment.
“Aside from cooking, cleaning, homeschooling, the world’s oldest profession,” she quipped and winked.
The “ world’s oldest profession ” usually refers to prostitution, but Kate probably referred to sexual relationships with her 17-year-old husband, Peter.

Kate also revealed that educating her four children was challenging because she is not very good at classes.
“It’s the lunches that kill me,” she said. “And I’m not good at math either. I’m really really bad at math.
“And I’ve found that I’m not good at English, geography or any other subject,” she laughed.
Italy lifted the lock restrictions, and Kate said that one of the hardest things she endured before she could get out simply wasn’t doing much.
“I’ll tell you what I’ve learned that doing nothing is tiring,” added the TV personality.
