Kate Hudson opened up about her relationship with Nick Jonas when she was 36 and he was 23 in a candid new interview.
The Almost Famous actress, now 45, and the singer, 31, were the subject of romance speculation in 2015 when they were photographed spending the day at Disney World and partying in New York City, but they never confirmed they were dating.
On Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live, Cohen asked Hudson during the Plead The Fifth segment: “In 2015, 2016, there were countless rumors about you and Nick Jonas, which you avoided, even on this very show.”
‘Looking back now, how would you characterize that relationship?’
She answered: ‘Wait a minute? Wait a minute. Charming, funny, kind… He’s like an old man in a young man’s body and we love him.

Jonas has previously said that he has ‘a lot ‘admiration and respect’ for Hudson during a 2016 interview with Complex.
He said: “Kate is amazing. We had an incredible connection as two human beings who just admire things about each other and see something beautiful in each other.”
Hudson also revealed when she was single: many stars have sent her direct messages.
She said, ‘Look, it’s a great way to meet people and a great thing to make your ego feel wonderful. Like, ‘Oh, that one snuck in.’ But I got a ton (of DMs)… I like to flirt, so I had to go a year without flirting. Yeah, that’s over now.’
Jonas has been married to actress Priyanka Chopra, 42, since 2018 and the couple are parents to a daughter, two-year-old Malti Marie.
In May, Hudson opened up about taking a year off from dating after her therapist advised her to “take a break from men.”
Appearing in the Call her daddy In a podcast on Wednesday, the star said: “I couldn’t flirt, none of that.”
She continued: ‘I was in that place where I thought, ‘I don’t want to keep repeating patterns anymore.’

The Almost Famous actress found love with musician Danny Fujikawa in 2016 and the couple got engaged in 2021.
As part of her dry spell, Hudson admitted she couldn’t even give out her phone number to potential suitors.
“But it was strangely empowering,” she explained.
Her exes include Chris Robinson, Owen Wilson, Alex Rodriguez, Lance Armstrong and Matt Bellamy, among others.
Despite feeling “uncomfortable” during the first few months of her dating ban, Hudson said she had a “big breakthrough” and that the break “allowed her to see things a lot more clearly.”

“We’re very connected and very close,” the Something Borrowed star told People.
“Love can change forms. It’s interesting when you have that modern family; there’s so much love for all the kids.
“I think what makes my life so special is that, in this very heterogeneous family, we have all figured out how to function… The children feel like they are part of one big family,” she added.
