Kate Hudson is often seen in her home gym with her two-year-old mini-me daughter Rani Rose.

And on Tuesday, the Fabletics co-founder, 42, explained why she’s including her youngest child in her workout routine.

The Almost Famous actress shared that she wants her little girl to exercise naturally like her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell did when she grew up: “That’s how I was raised. It’s ingrained in my brain that honoring and working on our bodies is a gift.”

The Oscar nominee was seen in two photos with her child to bring her point home.

Then she called her movie star parents, “I grew up watching my parents take care of their bodies,” added the notable Bride War.

“People always ask me how I get motivated to stay in shape. The answer is, that’s what I know. That’s how I was raised. It’s ingrained in my brain that honoring and working on our bodies is a gift and so I don’t take it for granted.”

Kate was seen in a neon green bra top with matching drawstring leggings as she lay on a floor in her home gym with her flax hair pulled back.

Her body appeared to be in sensational shape with abs and a fitted waist, as well as sculpted arms.

Next to her sat her child in a red and white striped outfit that looked like pajamas.

Both used weights on their legs while stretching their hamstring muscles.

In May, Kate was seen going through her designer duds with Rani by her side: ‘Clothing out with my girl…Who else is ready for a spring cleaning?’

And that same month, Kate and Rani were both seen in their swimsuits by a creek.

Hudson shares her youngest daughter with her partner, Danny Fujikawa, with whom she has been in a romantic relationship since 2016.

Before dating the musician, she was married to Chris Robinson, frontman of The Black Crowes, when they tied the knot in 2000. The two welcomed a son named Ryder Russell in January 2004 before splitting up. 2007.

Three years after her ex-husband’s split, Hudson began dating Muse singer and guitarist Matt Bellamy in 2010.

The couple announced their engagement and welcomed their son, Bingham Hawn, in 2011.

The actress and musician called off their engagement and split in 2014, though they remain on good terms and co-parent their child.

Hudson began dating her now-partner in 2016, although they had been introduced years earlier by his stepsisters, Erin and Sara Foster.

The two announced the birth of Rani in October 2018.

The actress spoke about adding a daughter to her family during an interview with AOL, and noted that she has had to answer for not raising a son for the third time.

“It doesn’t really change my approach, but there is definitely a difference… I did quite well with the guys. But it’s a whole different ball game with her,” she said.

Hudson then spoke about how her own upbringing has changed her approach to both parenting and navigating life’s challenges.

She remembered, ‘Growing up a girl with all boys, you get thick skin. You really do. People say, “Oh, your brothers must have really protected you.” And I’m like, “They threw me right in the fire!”‘
