It may only be October, but Kate Garraway has gotten into the festive spirit for a Christmas-themed photoshoot.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 57, donned several glamorous outfits while speaking to Woman and Home about the importance of making her first Christmas without her husband Derek Draper “fun and happy” for the sake of her two children.
Former political lobbyist Derek died in January at the age of 56 from complications of COVID-19, nearly four years after falling ill with the respiratory virus.
Kate looked stunning in the selection of photographs accompanying the December issue, showing off her figure in a pale cream dress before stunning in a silver jumpsuit.
The TV favorite also rocked some fun party dresses while sipping a cocktail and posing next to a Christmas tree.

Despite the fun session, Kate opened up about the difficulties the family will face over the festive period following the loss of Derek – but is looking forward to making “new memories” with her children Darcey, 18, and Billy, 15 .
“This Christmas will be difficult, as all firsts are, but I told the kids, ‘Let’s do what feels right, let’s do some new things and make some new memories,'” she said.
“You have to try to let things evolve into new memories, and they will guide me.”
The TV favorite went on to recall the recent Christmases before Derek’s tragic death, which were also quite “challenging” due to his illness.
‘It will be our first Christmas without Derek, but to be honest, the last four or five Christmases have been challenging, although we have also had the joy of having Derek there with us.
“I hope I’m not whining all day, but I’m sure there will be emotional moments. However, I want it to be fun and happy for Darcey and Billy because it’s been a tough few years for them. They might think, ‘At least Dad doesn’t have money anymore.’ pain”.
He couldn’t fondly remember the sweet Christmas memories the family shared, including the trip to Derek’s parents’ house, where they rated all the Christmas lights in town as they drove through them.
Kate had previously paid tribute to Darcey after she received her A-Level results in August, seven months after Derek’s death.
The TV favorite also rocked some fun party dresses while sipping a cocktail and posing next to a Christmas tree.
Despite the fun session, Kate spoke openly about the difficulties the family will face over the festive period following the loss of Derek.
“This Christmas will be difficult, as all firsts are, but I told the kids, ‘Let’s do what feels right, let’s do some new things and make some new memories,'” she said.

And Darcey made sure her dad was still with her by packing a family photo, taken before he contracted the disease in March 2020, and one of his favorite Panama hats.
Sharing a video of the teenager’s departure with her Instagram followers, Kate revealed the unframed photo and hat Darcey previously wore at Wimbledon in the back seat of her car while on the sidewalk outside her home in North London.
Captioning the clip, he wrote: ‘And just like that it was gone! That helpless little baby we brought home from the hospital 18 years ago has gone to #uni!
‘Like thousands of other parents, this weekend I was playing that game of Jenga trying to fit everything into the car. Thank goodness my dear Victor has a huge boot!
He added: “It’s such an emotional moment on so many levels and boy is the house quiet.” But Darcey, we couldn’t be prouder as you begin this new chapter in your life and know that your dad will be with you every step of the way.’
