Kate Ferdinand launches blended family support platform

Kate Ferdinand has launched a blended family support platform.

The former TOWIE star, 30, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce Blended, a network for families entwined through “breakup, foster care, adoption, loss” or other circumstances, following her own experiences as a stepparent.

She described the difficulties she faced when she became a stepmother to her husband’s children Rio, Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, and Tia, 10, and how their family was completed by her biological son Cree, 12 months.

In her candid post, Kate spoke about becoming a stepmother following the tragedy of Rio losing his wife and children who lost their mother Rebecca Ellison, who passed away in 2015, two years after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
