A fitness fanatic with a passion for pit bull, accused of running a large-scale drugs operation from her home, complained when a competitor ripped off the labels of her designer drugs, a court has heard.
Karlie Cook, 39, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday where she pleaded guilty to 10 charges including trafficking a commercial quantity of ecstasy and weapons offenses.
The plea followed a deal with Victorian prosecutors, who agreed to withdraw a series of other charges.
Karlie Cook was arrested by Victoria Police Echo Taskforce detectives, the same ones responsible for bringing down Victoria’s outlaw motorcycles.

Karlie Cook’s social media pages are full of photos of her wearing very little clothing.
Daily Mail Australia has been refused access to a revised summary of the agreed facts for which Cook will be sentenced when the case reaches the Victoria County Court next year.
Now sporting brown locks, Cook pleaded guilty via video link from the office of his high-profile attorney, Philip Dunn, of KC.
She was initially refused bail and jailed amid fears she posed a risk to the community.
During last year’s bail hearing, the court heard that Cook’s alleged dealing of Xanax – a powerful tranquilizer – allowed him to showcase his creative flair for the illicit drug trade.
Police allegedly seized testosterone, MDMA and 20 kg of Xanax from his home, police said. Sun Herald reported then.
Seizing Cook’s phone following his arrest in July last year, detectives found an assortment of messages relating to his alleged offending.
In a message to her friend, Cook allegedly moaned that “someone stole her Xanax label design.”
Police believe the Xanax was made and pressed in a bedroom of his home.
A trove of illicit loot was allegedly confiscated by police during the raid, including 1,4 butanediol, a stun gun, a crossbow and arrows, a pill press and an ATM.

A clandestine drug laboratory was allegedly set up inside Cook’s home, which was littered with various liquids, tablets and pills, cans, vials, empty bottles, labels, a label maker, cash and bottles that investigators believed contained steroids.
The court heard Cook’s boyfriend wanted nothing to do with her alleged drug dealing, telling police she regularly had parcels delivered to his home.
Cook had previously worked as an accountant and ran his own beauty business before turning to crime.
Police told the court Cook’s only income now came from manufacturing drugs.
At a hearing last year, Echo Taskforce senior detective Alexandra Kapetanovski said Cook used false identification to mask his alleged drug activity.
“(Cook) is clearly manufacturing addictive drugs and steroids on a large scale and continuing to traffic drugs for which she created her own labels and then labeled them for sale,” she said.
