Karl Stefanovic joked about his Channel Nine stablemate David Campbell being too obsessed with making TikTok videos.
The Today host, 48, took a friendly dig at the Today Extra star, 49, for his viral daggy-dancing clips with his co-anchor Belinda Russell.
Following a news clip about US federal employees being ordered to remove the TikTok app on government phones over fears of Chinese spying, Karl joked on Wednesday that David was a “foreign spy” because he uses the app all the time.
“David Campbell, I always thought it was a foreign spy…let’s see how he reacts to those allegations in a few hours,” he laughed.
His co-host Sarah Abo added, “Yeah, him and Belinda Russell, we’re both onto you!”

It comes after KIIS FM presenter and Karl’s close friend Kyle Sandilands, 51, reignited his feud with David and last week let loose on the TV presenter, calling him a ‘woke flop’.
His tirade followed criticism of David for his confrontational interview with MAFS star Jesse Burford last Thursday.
The Nine host drew the wrath of viewers when he tried to blame Jesse for his wife Claire Nomar cheating on him with co-star Adam Seed, smugly suggesting he should have treated her better earlier in the season.
Kyle, who has hated David for years, said last Friday that the divisive segment was just another example of him being a “flop” who “never has anyone’s back.”

The KIIS FM presenter was stunned at David’s aggressive questioning style, given that Jesse is a “nice guy” with a lot of public support, and suggested that he blindly sided with the woman to look “awake”.
His co-host Jackie “O” Henderson agreed that the left-wing morning TV presenter had acted like a “smug d**k” during the interview with Jesse.
After listening to audio from the Today Extra segment, Kyle snapped, “That’s David Campbell.
David Campbell reads a headline somewhere, believes it’s 100 percent true, doesn’t do any research and forms a really stupid, immature opinion because that’s what that type of person does.

“Then (he) runs around protecting everyone with no real details. That guy is a flop. I never liked him. I like Sylvia (Jeffreys, his Today Extra co-host) but I can’t watch her because he makes me physically sick to watch.
“This is his way of pumping himself up, so he’s a waking hero — and no one likes that.”
KIIS FM newscaster Brooklyn Ross said David should have known better than to attack Jesse the way he did, noting how MAFS is heavily edited and filmed months ago.
Jackie also wondered if he had even bothered to watch the show after the first few episodes, as Jesse’s portrayal has improved significantly in recent weeks.
“Why are you attacking this man?” she asked.
“I feel like he’s seen the early episodes, but not the recent ones. He thought he was doing what the public wanted by attacking Jesse, not realizing, “Dude, this isn’t the right way to go.”
“It’s out of date,” Kyle replied.
