Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic seemed relieved Thursday as they spent time with their daughter Harper after losing her in an hour-long police search.
Police were called to their holiday home in Noosa about 4.20pm on Wednesday when four-year-old Harper disappeared from their sprawling property, overlooking the beach.
Panicked Karl, 50, and his wife Jasmine, 40, frantically scoured the area as a Queensland Police helicopter hovered overhead searching for Harper.
Neighbors also joined the search and checked nearby streets and bush paths, while Karl’s eldest daughter Willow, 19, and her boyfriend Genaro Abdala García checked the beach.
Fortunately, Harper was found an hour later “curled asleep under a chair where no one could have hidden” at their vacation home, Karl told the Daily Telegraph.
Just hours later on Thursday morning, Karl and Jasmine couldn’t hide their relief as they enjoyed a day out with Harper after the unexpected scare.

Karl’s wife Jasmine was every inch a loving mother as she hugged Harper after she went missing at their holiday home in Noosa, before she was found sleeping under a chair.
They were seen pampering Harper as they joined Karl’s children Willow and Jackson, 24, who he shares with ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, for a meal out.
Karl played down the drama of the past 24 hours as he enjoyed some quality time with his children over Christmas lunch.
Keeping things low-key, Karl cut a relaxed figure in a black T-shirt and shorts, which he paired with a dark baseball cap.
Jasmine looked effortlessly chic in distressed denim shorts and an oversized white shirt as she carried Harper in her arms.
She packed her essentials into a beige straw bag and doted on Harper while giving her kisses on the cheek after the stressful day.
They were joined by Karl’s daughter Willow, who is back in Australia for Christmas after moving to the UK to study at the London College of Fashion.
She was also accompanied by her Argentinian boyfriend Genaro, who cut a casual figure in a white T-shirt, purple shorts and sand-colored loafers for the family day.
Jackson also joined the group and was seen carrying a gingerbread house from the car while getting into the holiday spirit.

She proved to be quite a loving mother as she brought a magazine and other toys for Harper to play with during the meal.
However, the family had a stressful start to the Christmas season after Harper disappeared at their holiday home in Noosa for an hour on Wednesday.
Her disappearance sparked a desperate search and police were called to the property at around 4.20pm while a helicopter also hovered overhead trying to locate the girl.
Karl and Jasmine were seen frantically touring the area before the Today Show host took off on a Vespa and asked Sunshine Beach locals if they had seen Harper.
Neighbors also joined the search, using scooters to check nearby streets and trails leading to the ocean, while Ava and Genaro joined lifeguards questioning beachgoers.
Fears for Harper’s safety grew as night fell and storms approached, but she was eventually found “curled asleep under a chair” inside her home.
Speaking about this stressful experience, Karl described it as his “worst nightmare.”
“We feared the worst because no one could find her,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
“I called the police because they couldn’t find her in or around the house and our priority is her safety.”

Karl thanked the police and neighbors who helped in the search and apologized “for the commotion.”
He also told how he had to reassure little Harper that Santa won’t find out about the panic he caused a week before Christmas.
“But somehow I think he knows,” she joked.
Karl welcomed Harper with his wife Jasmine in May 2020 at Sydney’s North Shore Private Hospital.
The couple had previously married at the One&Only Palmilla resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, in December 2018.
Karl and Jasmine began dating in late 2016. five months after Karl announced his separation from his first wife Cassandra Thorburn after 21 years of marriage.
He shares his oldest children with Cassandra, Jackson, Ava, who now goes by her middle name Willow, and 17-year-old River.
