Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake is attracting a lot of attention for her recent CNN interview with host Kaitlan Collins, but not for the reason people might think.
On Monday, Lake appeared for a controversial interview on The Source with Kaitlan Collins, a clip of which was later posted on the Senate Democrats TikTok account.
In the clip, Collins asked Lake some tough questions about the results of the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial race, but it seems like many viewers weren’t paying attention to her answers, but to her face.
During her interview, Lake appeared on screen in heavy makeup, with lots of contouring on her cheeks and a dramatic smoky eye.
The makeup was so flawless that it almost looked like a filter had been applied to her face, and on camera, her face looked a different shade than her neck.

Viewers couldn’t help but point out Lake’s new look in the comments section of the clip and begged the candidate to get a better makeup artist.
‘OMG who is her makeup artist?’ one person wrote.
Another agreed: “Miss Kari, I’m going to hold your hand when I tell you this: whoever did your makeup for this interview hates you.”
“Kari Lake: Make me look like a Snapchat filter,” someone else joked.
One user mocked her, writing, “Anyone who had the right face, whether it was Sephora or her makeup artist, made her DIIIIRRRTTYYYYY.”
Other viewers simply couldn’t believe how Lake looked in front of the camera.
“This mixing job is crazy,” one user commented.
A second wrote: ‘Sorry, is that his real face?’ I really thought it was some filter, but is this how you do makeup for an interview?

Another person admitted: “The only crime committed is that of the person who told him that the makeup looks good.”
Lake’s appearance on CNN comes just days after former President Bill Clinton admitted that the former television news anchor was “physically attractive.”
Clinton appeared alongside Democratic candidate Reuben Gallego, 44, and outlined her vision for the race in Arizona.
“This is like a beautiful microcosm of the campaign that Kamala Harris is running for president,” he said.
“We have a person who grew up in sometimes challenging circumstances, who made something of his life competing against someone who is physically attractive but who believes that politics is a performance art.”
