From Bianca to Kim, Julia and Amber: a look at all the couples Kanye West has tried to change and how far he managed to take it

Kanye West has had his fair share of romantic relationships while in the public eye.

His behavior towards his partners has come under scrutiny, with accusations that he has been “controlling” his current relationship with his wife Bianca Censori.

The rapper, also known as Ye, is said to have banned the Australian beauty from using social media and she only wears the clothes he wants.

His ex-wife Kim Kardashian previously claimed that Kanye made her cry after throwing away all the clothes she didn’t like.

Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend Julia Fox admitted to feeling like a “show monkey” while dating him, while his other ex Amber Rose branded him a “bully.”

MailOnline takes a look at all the times Kanye tried to change his exes and how far he managed to take it.

Kanye has been accused of exhibiting controlling behavior in his relationship with Bianca.

He is believed to have banned her from using social media to protect her from negative comments, according to insiders, who say her friends believe it is actually another tactic to further “isolate” her.

Even though the architectural designer’s loved ones even made an intervention about her relationship with the rapper and his ‘controlling ways,’ her husband appears to have changed his attitude towards social media.

“Bianca has always had social media and was active on it, until she married Kanye,” a source exclusively told DailyMail.com.

‘He doesn’t want her to have it because he thinks it would hurt her if she had to read the nasty things people say.

“He convinced her that since she’s a star now, she has to remain a mystery and it’s creepy to those who know her as it feels like another form of control.”

However, his friends take issue with the fact that the rapper, who goes by the name Ye, is posting racy images of his wife on his own Instagram account, despite allegedly claiming that she needs protection.

The source added: ‘He is pushing her nudity all over his (account) so he can control his narrative. She is disturbing and by isolating her from the world, he is causing her to become more and more isolated.’

Friends are said to be stunned to see the usually assertive designer agree to Kanye’s demands, as the source emphasized: “This strong Bianca who wasn’t going to deal with his shit anymore has apparently disappeared once again.”

‘She wears what he wants, goes where he wants and does what he wants because she really has no choice. She went from being his designer to his wife, which unfortunately is not a paid position. She is trapped.

In October, DailyMail.com revealed that the Grammy-winning rapper had ordered his wife to “never speak” and had given her a set of rules to live by, including specific foods she could eat and what she could wear.

Insiders claimed that the designer “no longer has a will of her own” and instead simply “obeys” the controversial rapper, because he has convinced her that they have a “real” status.

“Kanye has a set of rules for Bianca, which include never talking and wearing what he wants her to wear,” the source explained. “He is also required that she eat certain foods and that she exercise even though Kanye doesn’t exercise.”

Bianca and Kanye secretly married in December 2022, just a month after he finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

Kanye had a highly publicized relationship with actress Julia Fox in January 2022, and the couple dated for just over a month.

However, the rapper managed to exert his influence on the Uncut Gems star during that time.

On their second date, he reportedly bought her a whole new wardrobe of clothes and, according to Julia, encouraged her on what to wear and how to style her hair.

In his book Down The Drain, he wrote: “I don’t know how he did it, or how it all got there in time.” But he surprised me a lot. Who does things like that on a second date? Or any quote!’

‘I definitely see what I like, but I’ve never been a visionary. Kanye would come in and say, ‘You should do your hair like this.’ You should do your makeup like this.’ That’s his love language, his clothes.

Julia claimed that Kanye tried to control what she would wear whenever they went out and also told her that he wanted to assign a group of people to work on her wardrobe.

She also wrote in her book that on one occasion when they were out, she was told to meet her new stylist in the restaurant bathroom, who allegedly offered her several outfits to change into.

Julia also claimed that Kanye offered to pay for her to get a boob job after seeing her modeling some of the new clothes he had approved.

But Julia didn’t appreciate Kanye’s opinion, writing that constantly wearing what he wanted her to wear made her feel like a “show jumpsuit.”

If Kanye’s eagerness to give his opinion on what his partner wears, it is because he did the same during his marriage to Kim Kardashian.

Kim previously told how Kanye immediately wanted to change his wardrobe when they started dating and had no problem telling her she had bad fashion sense.

Speaking in the Fashion BusinessAt the inaugural BoF West summit, Kim recalled, “I always thought I had great style, until I met my husband and he told me I had the worst style.” She was very nice about it and cleaned out my entire closet.

According to Kim, Kanye made her cry when he cleaned out her closet.

She said: “I probably had 250 pairs of shoes and when we finished cleaning them I had two pairs left and I cried.”

On an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she added, “Our whole commitment was that if I got rid of my clothes, he would fill my closet.” But now I’m going crazy. He literally could cry.”

Kim also claimed that Kanye regularly emailed her fashion advice with mood boards and once told her she couldn’t wear big sunglasses anymore.

However, Kim doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings and believes that Kanye taught her more about fashion.

She said: ‘There were racks of clothes from designers I’d never heard of before, like Lanvin and Givenchy. I didn’t know it then.

‘I kept everything because it was very sentimental to me. I wanted to learn. When she did that, she wanted to teach me.’

Amber had a highly publicized two-year relationship with Kanye when they dated between 2008 and 2010.

However, the relationship ended badly and Amber later revealed that the couple were “two very different people”.

Like her other exes, Amber previously told how Kanye also encouraged her to wear clothes she liked and once styled her for an Elle magazine photo shoot.

The rapper spoke publicly about his relationship with Amber and once cruelly joked that he needed to take ’30 showers’ after their breakup.

Responding to the No Jumper podcast, Amber said: ”He’s been picking on me for 10 years. He has harassed me for 10 years.”

He added: ‘I am a compassionate person. I have empathy. I am a good person. That’s why people love me. That’s why all the people I dated loved me.

“You can’t mention anyone who says something really bad about me except him, because I ran away.”

Unlike Kim, Amber doesn’t feel like she’s learned anything from her relationship with Kanye and said they don’t look alike “at all.”

She added: “I don’t really think of him like that. To me, he’s a guy I dated 10 years ago.”
