Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff moved into their official residence on Tuesday evening after more than two months of renovation.
The couple flew to Washington DC at the end of a day that saw Harris in Chicago and Emhoff, Washington State.
The couple had lived in Blair House, across the street from the White House, since January – an arrangement that reportedly began to wear off at Harris.
