Kamala Harris said there is nothing she would change in terms of what President Joe Biden has done during his time in the White House.

“I can’t think of anything,” Harris said.

Her comments were made to the hosts of ABC’s The View when she appeared on the show Tuesday morning for a softball interview in which she was fawned over. Whoopi Goldberg introduced her as “the next president of the United States.”

The Democratic candidate was just as friendly, posing for photos with the hosts during commercial breaks.

Harris justified her rationale for sticking with Biden’s record by noting, “I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had an impact.”

He specifically pointed to lowering the cost of insulin and the infrastructure bill, both of which are popular with voters.

However, polls show that voters want someone other than Biden or Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Many Americans indicated they did not want the 2024 election to be a rematch of the 2020 election.

Enthusiasm among Democratic voters rose sharply after Harris replaced Biden on the ticket. And he has campaigned as an agent of hope and change.

Republicans quickly pounced on Harris’ comment.

‘Kamala Harris is more of the same. She admits it herself,” JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential candidate, wrote in X.

And Don Jr., the former president’s son, was even more forceful.

And just like that, Kamala’s entire campaign about being an ‘agent of change’ falls apart. ‘You can’t call yourself an agent of change when you not only agree with every disaster Joe Biden is responsible for, but you brag about being involved in all of those decisions!’ he wrote on X.

In the friendly interview, Harris stayed away from controversial topics, including her relationship with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

On Monday, it was revealed that DeSantis did not take Harris’ phone calls as Hurricane Milton approached the Florida coast.

He accused her of trying to score political points and noted that she had never called him during any other hurricane that hit Florida during her tenure as vice president.

Harris did not directly mention whether she has communicated with DeSantis in the past.

‘Well, first of all, I have called and spoken with, over the course of this crisis, the most recent crisis, Democratic and Republican governors. He called, he took the call, he answered the call, he had a conversation. “Obviously this is not a question of partisanship or politics for certain leaders, but maybe it is for others,” he said on The View on Tuesday.

“Floridians, tough people, have been through a lot,” he added. ‘But this is going to be different from what they’ve been before. And I know a lot of people might think, ‘I’ve been through this, I grew up here, I’ve seen it all,’ this is going to be different.’

“And that’s why I called the governor to ask him what Florida has received in terms of impact,” he said. “And I think it’s a shame that it didn’t happen.”

Co-host Ana Navarro, an anti-Trump Republican, later commented, “He’ll take your call when you’re president.”

“Here’s what you need to know on that point,” Harris inserted. “And when I’m president I’ll keep calling him to see what help he needs.”

Joy Behar then commented that DeSantis ‘maybe’ will no longer be in office once Harris takes over as president.

The Florida Republican was overwhelmingly re-elected in 2022, but is term limited so he can only serve until January 2027.

Harris also had harsh words for her Republican rival Donald Trump, saying he “really lacks empathy at a very basic level.”

She criticized him for presenting misinformation during the response to Hurricane Helene. Trump falsely claimed that the Biden administration only sent funds and aid to blue states and not red ones.

“The idea that someone would be playing political games for their own good, but this is very consistent with Donald Trump,” Harris said.

‘He puts himself before the needs of others. I’m afraid you really lack empathy at a very basic level: caring about other people’s suffering and then understanding that the leader’s role is not to defeat people. “It is to completely encourage people, especially in times of crisis,” he added.

Harris finds herself in the middle of a media blitz. After his time on The View, he headed to Howard Stern’s studio to record an interview.

He will then head to Nevada to attend a Univision town hall. He appeared on a ’60 Minutes’ special on Monday night.
