Kamala Harris’s husband’s first marriage ended after he impregnated his children’s nanny, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The second gentleman, Doug Emhoff, cheated on his first wife, Kerstin, with the blonde nanny, who also taught at his children’s expensive private school.
The woman, Najen Naylor, 47, did not deny the story when contacted by DailyMail.com at her home in New York’s millionaires’ playground, The Hamptons.
She didn’t comment except to say, “I’m a little scared right now.”
A close friend with direct knowledge of the affair and pregnancy told DailyMail.com that Naylor did not keep the child, although her social media accounts show a video of a mysterious girl named Brook in 2009, the year the baby was reportedly born.
Another friend, Stacey Brooks, who had twin sons around the same time as Naylor, also did not deny any of the claims but said she would not release any more information without Naylor’s permission.
The incendiary news is said to be causing panic in Harris’ campaign just as she has overtaken Donald Trump in several polls and as she steps up her final push to win voters in November.

Emhoff, 59, and his ex-wife, film producer Kerstin, 57, ended their 16-year marriage in 2009 when she discovered the affair, sources said. Their daughter Ella was 10 and son Cole was 15 at the time.
When Kerstin split from Emhoff, her daughter Ella was finishing third grade. Sources told DailyMail.com that Naylor was Ella’s nanny at the time and had started working as a teaching assistant at Willows and eventually became a teacher there.
Emhoff spokeswoman Liza Acevedo did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Kerstin Emhoff hung up the phone when asked for comment.

Sources claimed that after the affair, Naylor had to leave her job as a teacher at The Willows, an elite private elementary school in Culver City, California, where she had been teaching the Emhoff children and working as a nanny for the couple.
Employment records obtained by DailyMail.com show Naylor worked at The Willows in 2009. She is Facebook friends with current staff.
Current tuition rates for kindergarten through eighth grade schools range from $32,525 to $41,535.
A mother who sent her children to the school before 2009 said she was aware of the matter and that while she disliked Emhoff, she had only positive words for Naylor, who had taught her children and cared for them during family vacations.
“She was a lovely person, a great teacher to my children,” the mother, who asked to remain anonymous, told DailyMail.com.
Another friend with intimate knowledge of the scandal confirmed the affair with Emhoff, but told DailyMail.com that Naylor did not keep the baby.

When contacted by DailyMail.com, Naylor declined to comment on her relationship with Emhoff or the baby. “I’m a bit scared at the moment,” she said.
Naylor is currently caring for an infant and a toddler at her home in The Hamptons.
In September 2009, Naylor posted a video on Facebook to “introduce” three babies: Sawyer, Brook, and George, with the caption “Baby Shower!”
Sawyer and George are the children of Brooks, who has been a close friend of Brooks since childhood in Columbus, Ohio. These children were born in July 2009.
The third daughter, Brook, who appears slightly younger, does not appear to be Stacey’s daughter and does not appear in any of their later family photos on Facebook. It is not clear who Brook’s mother is.
Another friend responded to the 2009 video of the three babies: “Ahhhhh!!! Post more pictures!”
When contacted by DailyMail.com and asked about the Emhoff matter, Brooks did not deny any of the reports but said she would not comment further without Naylor’s permission.
He added that Naylor was a “wonderful” woman.
A search of Los Angeles County birth records showed no record of a “Brook Naylor” born in 2008 or 2009. There were also no babies born with the last name “Emhoff” in the county in those two years.
Naylor’s LinkedIn page says she became “Director of New Business Development” at production company Broadway Video in 2011, and landed her current job as “Senior Director, Original Entertainment Acquisition and Development” at the New York offices of audiobook company Audible in 2018.

Audible is owned by Amazon and is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
Naylor grew up in Columbus, Ohio, attended Auburn University in Alabama, and moved to Los Angeles when he was 20. He is listed in residence records as living in New York since approximately 2011.
She bought a beachfront home in the Hamptons in 2021 for $855,000, with a $684,000 mortgage during the Covid pandemic.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom remodeled barn is located off the main road in Hampton Bays, away from prying eyes, and is currently estimated to be worth $1.4 million.
A source claimed that Emhoff had reached a financial settlement with Naylor and that she left her job at the school due to the hushed-up scandal.
Naylor currently cares for an infant and a toddler at home. Her backyard is filled with toys, including a Wendy house and play equipment, and features a pool.
He bought the house three years after taking his job at Audible at the height of the work-from-home boom. It’s more than 100 miles from Newark.
Naylor’s social media posts also show she has been planning renovations to the property for some time, saving images to decorate the children’s rooms and other parts of her home.
According to sources who spoke to DailyMail.com, Naylor was Ella’s nanny when she became pregnant. She worked first as a teaching assistant and then as a teacher at Willows.
The Emhoffs’ 2010 divorce settlement, filed in a Los Angeles court, says the couple shared the costs of a nanny, a private tutor and private school fees.
When the couple split in May 2009, their daughter Ella was finishing third grade.
Sources told DailyMail.com that Naylor was Ella’s nanny at the time and was working, first as a teaching assistant and then as a teacher, at Willows.
After attending Willows, Ella graduated from Los Angeles’ private Wildwood High School in 2018.
Emhoff met Harris, then California’s attorney general, when one of her friends set her up on a blind date in 2013. They married the following year.
Allegations about Emhoff’s alleged affair were first reported on July 31 by right-wing activist and journalist Laura Loomer in a post on the social media site X, though she did not name Naylor.
Loomer said five sources told her that Emhoff cheated on his first wife, leaving a teacher at Willows Elementary School pregnant.
