Kamala Harris has swept aside Donald Trump’s lead in battleground states, according to new polls from the Cook Political Report.
Harris has made gains in “blue wall” states, leading Trump 49 to 46 percent in Michigan, 49 to 46 in Wisconsin and beating Trump 49 to 48 in Pennsylvania in the poll, conducted with BSG and GS Strategy Group.
Nevada is the only one of the seven battlegrounds where Harris is neither leading nor tied with Trump.
He has also narrowly edged ahead in Arizona, tied him in Georgia, is three behind him (48 to 45) in Nevada, and even leads him 48 to 47 in North Carolina.
That’s a state Harris plans to visit on Friday, in the latest sign that she has slightly expanded the map of President Biden’s ever-narrowing paths to victory. This comes as Harris’ team announced a $90 million campaign in the battleground states.
