Kamala Harris had an evidently hot moment with the microphone during a briefing on Hurricane Milton.
Donald Trump’s campaign and X’s critics accuse the vice president of giving him information on what to say during Wednesday’s briefing.
As National Weather Service Director Ken Graham provided information about the storm, Harris could be seen awkwardly covering his mouth and heard saying, “It’s a live broadcast.”
Shortly afterward, he posed a question to Graham to provide more information to Americans about the storm’s severity despite being “downgraded” from a Category 5 to a Category 4 hurricane.

‘Kamala can be heard telling an attendee (who is answering her questions) that it is a ‘live broadcast’ before immediately asking the question. “It is a total fraud,” Trump War Room wrote on its X page with a clip of the moment.
One user posted his own conclusion of the moment, writing on the vice president’s X: ‘This lady doesn’t know what’s going on. Everything in it is written and is false.
President Joe Biden hosted the event and provided information on Hurricane Milton on Wednesday, as parts of the East Coast are still recovering from the deadly Hurricane Helene that hit earlier this month.
Biden was in person, but Harris joined the call virtually and appeared on screen alongside DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and NOAA Director Graham, as well as officials from FEMA, the Coast Guard and the National Hurricanes.

Florida has been preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Milton for the past week and the administration is preparing to send aid after the storm and provide any other assistance that may be needed.
