Just over a month after announcing her engagement, Kaley Cuoco revealed that she and fiancé Tom Pelphrey are in no rush to tie the knot.
The actress went on to share how they “haven’t started planning anything yet” in terms of their wedding plans, and that they might welcome another baby before sharing their nuptials.
“We’re going to break away from the established order. That’s our plan,” the former Big Bang Theory star joked. People of their plan to grow their family beyond their daughter Matilda and their four beloved dogs.
“I’ve got four dogs now, a one-year-old baby and a Tom – that’s a lot,” she added, laughing at the mention of Pelphrey, to whom she has been engaged since August.

Cuoco, 38, went on to share how she’s going to slow down a bit and enjoy being engaged for a while.
The Camarillo, California native went on to compare the seemingly endless questions surrounding wedding planning to the whirlwind after Matilda was born.
“When I had my baby, people were like, ‘When’s the second one? ‘ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, is anyone going to let me enjoy this? ‘” she said of the two big events in her life.
Keeping things hectic, in the best way possible, new parents are kept busy trying to keep up with their little one now that she’s mobile.
“She runs around, she screams, she eats everything, she loves being outdoors, she adores her daddy,” she said of Matilda, before talking about some of her baby’s interests. “She’s like a child. She loves airplanes, monster trucks, helicopters. She thinks everything in the sky is the most amazing thing.”
Cuoco then quickly added, “And she loves horses, so that’s cool.”
Cuoco and Pelphrey first met through manager Andrea Pett-Joseph, who arranged for them to meet at an Ozark premiere in April 2022.
“I heard his voice and I turned around and it was like my life had either ended or just begun,” the 8 Simple Rules star said. USA today In an interview the following month, she told me: “I was shocked. It was love at first sight.”
Cuoco shared a photo of her daughter, whom she described as “multitasking like her mom,” in an Instagram Stories post on Sunday.
Cuoco captioned the photo: “Sunday, fun day,” alongside a photo of Pelphrey on a swing with his daughter.
“I now have four dogs, a one-year-old baby and a Tom… it’s a lot,” The Big Bang Theory alum told People during the interview.
The fourth and most recent addition to her four-legged family is Dolly, whom the actress introduced to her 7.9 million fans and Instagram followers in mid-June.
She added: “We connected immediately. I feel like I’ve known him all my life, but I wasn’t ready for him,” she thought at the time.
Considering Pelphrey played the role of Ben Davis on the acclaimed Netflix hit series, which ran for four seasons and starred Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner, the actor was on home turf for his first meeting.
Seven months before meeting her future father, Cuoco had just filed for divorce from her second ex-husband, Karl Cook, which occurred in September 2021, after three years of marriage.
Cuoco had also previously been married to Ryan Sweeting for about three years, from 2013 until their divorce was finalized in 2016.
“We’re going to go wild. That’s our plan,” the first-time mom joked to People of her plan to grow her family beyond daughter Matilda and her four beloved dogs, which came just over a month after announcing her engagement in August.
The couple met at an Ozark premiere by manager Andrea Pett-Joseph in April 2022; they are seen together on September 12 in West Hollywood.
Cuoco and Pelphrey eventually went public with their engagement, announcing it on Instagram Stories on Aug. 15 with a photo of the bride-to-be showing off her engagement ring, which she captioned, “Amazing weekend.”
That romantic moment came more than two years after The Flight Attendant actress confirmed her romance with the Ozark star on Instagram in May 2022.
In addition to Ozark (2020-2022), Pelphrey’s Hollywood resume includes Guiding Light (2004-2009), As the World Turns (2009-2020), Banshee (2015-2016), Iron Fist (2017-2018), Outer Range (2022-2024) and the miniseries A Man In Full (2024).
The Howell, New Jersey native has been working all summer on an untitled crime drama series for HBO that also stars Mark Ruffalo, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Raúl Castillo, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Fabien Frankel and Alison Oliver.
