Kaia, 22, cut a casual figure in a navy T-shirt and jeans as she met up with The Bear star, 28, for a meet-up before heading out to lunch.
The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber wore ballet flats and carried her essentials in a chic black handbag.
Meanwhile, Ayo put on a leggy display in a pair of denim shorts which she teamed with an oversized shirt for the outing.
The duo quickly became friends and in March the catwalk queen even revealed they had matching tattoos.

It comes after Kaia apparently made a cryptic diss to an ex when she was spotted reading a book called ‘Dear D***head’ earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Kaia shared a photo of herself lounging on a lounge chair on Instagram, showing off her six-pack in a tiny black triangle bikini.
She has been dating Elvis star Austin Butler 33 since late 2021, but her most recent post has sparked controversy.
In the snap, Kaia was reading a novel titled ‘Dear Idiot’, with the star captioning it: ‘A book for someone I used to know.’
In a second image, Kaia highlighted a paragraph from the book that read: ‘At this point, your utter stupidity demands some respect.
“But that doesn’t change the basics: I don’t give a shit about you. All my love to your sister, she was a wonderful friend.”

The model split from Jacob, who also played Elvis in Priscilla, in November 2021 after a year together.
Kaia and Jacob first gained attention in September 2020 after they were spotted showing their affection in public in New York.
At the time, sources said E! News “There’s nothing serious going on between the two of them.”
“They have a lot of mutual friends and have hung out together many times in the past,” the source added.
Kaia was linked to Pete Davidson in the fall of 2019, but the couple split just a few months after dating around February 2020 so the SNL comedian could focus on his “mental health,” according to E! News.
