Kacey Musgraves rocked a white bra and matching petticoat while sitting in a tree in outtakes shared on Instagram Sunday.
The 35-year-old country singer posted several photos of herself in a tree taken by photographer Kelly Christine during a photo shoot for the cover of Bitter Southerner magazine.
Kacey captioned the photos with a quote that read, “when the roots are deep there is no fear of the wind.”
She also added: ‘Outtakes by @kellychristinephoto for my @bittersoutherner cover (out now), hair by @giovannidelgado, makeup by @moanilee, styling by @ecduzit, assist by @lindseydupuis,’ Kacey wrote in the caption to her roughly 2.6 million followers.
Kacey in the photos was sitting on a thick branch of a large tree as sunlight filtered through the green leaves.

Kacey released her sixth studio album Deeper Well in March via MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.
She embarked on the Deeper Well World Tour in April to promote the album.
Deeper Well debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 in the United States and debuted at number three on the Official Albums Chart in the United Kingdom.
Last month, Kacey shared a racy snap of her naked body covered in a mud-like liquid during a photoshoot.

Kacey is no stranger to risqué displays, having previously performed nude on Saturday Night Live in 2021 while appearing as a musical guest.
For her second performance on the NBC comedy series, she took the stage to sing her hit song from that year, Justified.
Her publicist later confirmed that in addition to not lip-syncing, she also did not fake nudity when she was only wearing a pair of cowboy boots and covering her body with her guitar.
“She was naked,” her representative confirmed. Variety‘Precautions were taken and this was the first time it happened on the show.’
