A Bay Area radio DJ has disappeared without a trace, leaving what may have been a chilling final message for his fans and loved ones after his disappearance.
Jeffrey “JV” Vandergrift, 54, host of The JV Show on radio station Wild 94.9, was last seen at his San Francisco home around 10 p.m. Thursday.
A post on Vandergrift’s official Instagram account on Aug. 20 was recently edited to change the captions to past tense, in which he thanked his listeners and said he had a good life.
Thank you for a wonderful life filled with joy, laughter, pain and struggle. It’s been a great journey. Your support and prayers meant everything,” the caption reads.
His listeners, friends and family are now asking the public to help locate and bring him home.
