Nicolo Fagioli’s Derby d’Italia dreams came true on Sunday night when he scored a goal on his Serie A debut to give Juventus a 2-0 win against Inter Milan.
It took a while for the game to warm up, with the away team starting the better team, with Denzel Dumfries coming close several times in the opening period.
But it was Filip Kostic who secured Max Allegri’s victory by driving Adrien Rabiot into the penalty area with a cross, which drove the French midfielder in with an excellent first finish.

A goal from Juventus was disallowed just ten minutes later, with Kostic delivering another cross into the penalty area, which was caught by Danilo, who, despite turning the ball into the goal with his shin, appeared to be handling the ball in the process.
Fagioli, a Juventus academy graduate, scored three points for Turin after receiving a cross, again from Kostic, and making a deflected shot in the 84th minute to send the Allianz Stadium into delirium.
