Justin Timberlake will not face drunk driving charges after reaching a plea deal in his DWI case.
The singer, who was arrested in June in the Hamptons, will avoid a drunken driving charge after he agreed to plead guilty to a traffic violation on Tuesday. TMZ reported.
Timberlake, 43, will admit to driving while impaired, rather than the original DWI charge, which has been dropped.
He will pay a fine of between $300 and $500 as part of the agreement.
A major component of the deal, sources told DailyMail.com, is Timberlake’s willingness to make a public service video for the organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Burke Jr. has repeatedly denied that his client was intoxicated when he was arrested.
Timberlake will still have his New York driver’s license suspended for six months because he refused to take a breathalyzer test when he was pulled over.
The pop star was arrested in the early hours of June 18 after a night of partying with friends in the exclusive enclave of Sag Harbor in the Hamptons.
Police said he was stopped after running a stop sign while driving his BMW X7.

Once stopped, officers noticed the singer had “glassy eyes” and a strong odor of alcohol emanating from him, according to a police report.
“His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of alcohol emanated from his breath, he was unable to divide his attention, his speech was slowed, his gait was unsteady, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” court documents say.
The father of two was given a field sobriety test and asked to submit to a breathalyzer test, which he refused.
The “Cry Me A River” singer had reportedly been staying at the luxurious American Hotel before the incident.
Timberlake made a virtual appearance in a Sag Harbor courtroom, where he was re-arraigned on a drunken driving charge stemming from his June 18 arrest.
Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., denied that his client was drunk when he was arrested.
