Justin Timberlake sold his 126-acre Nashville estate for a whopping $8 million, as the fallout from his shocking DWI arrest last week continues.
The 3-year-old Cry Me A River hitmaker first listed the plot for sale in Franklin, located about 20 miles south of Nashville and just a few hours from his hometown of Memphis, in August of last year for 10 million dollars.
The land was sold in May for a huge amount, two weeks before the star’s arrest, and Timberlake made a huge profit, having first purchased the land in 2015 for $4 million.
The sprawling grounds feature unique mountain views and plenty of green space perfect for horseback riding, fishing, and mountain biking.
In addition to its amenities for nature lovers, the property also features stone walls and close proximity to the cozy town of Leiper’s Fork.
Justin Timberlake sold his 126-acre Nashville estate for $8 million, as the fallout from his shocking DWI arrest last week continues.
The Sag Harbor Police Department said in a statement on June 18 that Justin had been “observed driving a BMW 2025 southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a properly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his travel lane” in the first hours of the same day.
The new buyer will also be in good company with famous neighbors in the area such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
With two private entrances, the property is also a remote haven for nature lovers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. One of the main entrances features a covered bridge that creates a cozy and rustic atmosphere as we welcome guests to the property.
For those with an affinity for water, Dobyns Branch Creek runs through the area and brings life to the greenbelt.
Currently, the estate does not appear to have any homes built on its land.
The new owner appears as a limited liability company, according to Sun.
It’s unclear what prompted Timberlake to put the land on the market and whether he and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, are looking for another piece of land in their home state.
However, it wouldn’t be surprising, as one source said US Weekly in 2021 that they like to raise their children, Silas, 7, and Phineas, 3, away from the spotlight and Los Angeles.
‘They both prefer life in the country. “It’s great for the kids because they have a lot of space and freedom,” the source told the outlet.
