Justin Long made a very TMI confession about a disastrous case of food poisoning involving his wife Kate Bosworth.
The 46-year-old actor revealed he once soiled the bed he shared with Kate after falling ill during a trip to Mexico City.
Recalling the incident in the podcast, PIE with Kurt Sutter and Katey SagalJustin went into detail about how Kate, 41, helped him after the disaster struck.
“They hooked me up to an IV and she had to follow me into the bathroom with the machine,” said the actor, who was recently spotted in New York with Kate.
“It was like Dumb and Dumber. I was just venting in a very comical way and at one point in the night I woke up and – there’s no other way to put it, I couldn’t help it – I had shit in the bed. I had shit in the bed and she was in the bed.”

Luckily, Kate was incredibly compassionate and reminded Justin how “lucky” he was to have her.
“She was about two feet away from me with an IV bag,” he said. “And she was holding it so patiently and saying, ‘It’s OK.’ And I thought about how much I loved her. I thought, ‘I love this person, I’m so grateful.'”
“She didn’t judge me, she didn’t make me feel weird or bad, and I just felt really lucky, you know?”
Interestingly, Justin even thought the moment was “romantic.”
‘I was shitting like crazy and she was looking at me lovingly and I thought, “This is really romantic.”
“She convinced me to take a shower after I’d been, you know, shitting the bed all night,” she continued. “And so I did. You know where all you want to do is be in bed? But I got in the shower, cleaned myself up, and then she was on the phone with the doctor and she saw me.
‘I could count on one hand the number of times she was critical of something I was doing. But I watched her watch me as I got into bed, got back into bed, got back into the same bed, lay on my side. I avoided the spot, but kept coming back to my filth.
“She looked at me and said, ‘What are you doing? ‘ I said, ‘I’m going back to bed. ‘ And she said, ‘Don’t do that. Come next to me,'” he added.

Bosworth and Long first connected while filming a movie in 2021, but didn’t go public with their romance until January 2022.
That spring, he admitted he wanted to talk about his relationship but also felt “protective” of his privacy during an appearance on the Viall Files podcast.
“I want to shout it from the rooftops, but I also want to protect it. It’s sacred,” he explained.
They announced their engagement last April, and the following month Long began referring to Bosworth as his “wife.”

Long and Bosworth tied the knot last year after going public with their romance in 2022.
“I was there when I was really falling in love with my now wife,” he told his guest, actress Kate Sedgwick. “She came to visit me, and I’d never been comfortable with visitors on set.”
“I like to separate the relationship… But, yes, I loved having her there and we had a magical time. It helped me to have her there. She helped me with the scenes. It was the best,” he said.
A source reported Page six Later in May 2023, the couple tied the knot at the Rockaway Hotel located in Queens, New York.
“It was a very low-key ceremony. Onlookers thought it was an engagement photo shoot, not a royal wedding,” the source told the outlet.
The couple had previously stayed at the hotel when Kate collaborated with surf brand, Roxy, for a photo shoot.
‘They fell in love with the atmosphere of the hotel and decided to get married the next day, right then and there!’
A separate source was also opened to People about the “improvised” nuptials, saying: “After getting engaged, Kate couldn’t wait to marry Justin. She knew she never wanted a big wedding. She just cared about being married.”
‘They kept talking about eloping. They ended up having a casual, impromptu wedding a few weeks ago. It was perfect. She’s thrilled to be married to Justin.’
