Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been established as the father of a baby girl, according to an order issued by a family court judge in New Jersey.

That order, issued by Judge Aldo J. Russo on June 26 and obtained by DailyMail.com, states that a “provisional support obligation” has been agreed upon between Jefferson and the girl’s mother, Andrea Galea. Details of that agreement are not disclosed in the judge’s filing, which goes on to say that the parents “will be required to attend private mediation.”

As DailyMail.com reported in February, Galea accused Jefferson of pressuring her to abort the child after she became pregnant in 2023. Her lawyer at the time declined to comment on that allegation to DailyMail.com. Galea decided to keep the child and gave birth to baby Stella in December, according to her paternity suit.

In their countersuits filed in January, both Jefferson and Galea requested paternity testing. Galea also pushed for financial support and medical coverage for Jefferson, who has since signed a four-year, $140 million contract with the Vikings that reportedly includes $100 million guaranteed.

The 25-year-old Louisiana State product is also one of the stars of Netflix’s new NFL reality series, Receiver, which follows five of the league’s top pass catchers.

As previously reported, Galea accused NFL star Jefferson of pressuring her to abort the child.

An attorney for Jefferson declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com, while representatives for Galea did not immediately respond to questions.

Judge Russo’s order set a framework for some recent visitation, required both parents to remain in contact about the child and even allowed the All-Pro to have FaceTime conversations with his young daughter while she and her mother took a recent trip to Italy.

The order also denied Jefferson’s request to prevent Galea from taking the daughter on that same trip.

Jefferson recently signed a four-year, $140 million contract with the Vikings.

‘For the reasons set forth in the record, (Jefferson’s) emergent request for an OTSC (order to show cause) to prevent (Galea) from traveling to Italy with the minor child is denied, as the court finds that (Jefferson) has not met the burden of proof to establish immediate and irreparable harm as defined in Crowe v DeGioa, 90 NJ 126 (1982).

“(Galea) may travel to Capri, Italy, with the minor from July 1, 2024, through July 12, 2024,” the order continued. “No later than June 30, 2024, (Galea) shall provide (Jefferson) with a detailed itinerary, including flight information, locations, and telephone numbers where the minor and the parents may be contacted during the trip.”

The order goes on to require civil communications between parents, who must deal directly with each other rather than speaking through intermediaries.

“Any communication between the parties shall be non-derogatory and non-harassing in nature and shall be solely about the health, education and welfare of the minor,” Russo wrote. “A party receiving a communication shall respond to it within six hours or less.”

Galea also pushed for financial support and health care coverage for Jefferson.

Galea is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law who previously attended LSU with Jefferson.

The two became romantically involved in 2019 before distancing themselves and reconnecting in April 2023, according to their paternity suit filed on January 19. It was in April 2023 that Galea claims Jefferson was the father of her daughter.

In her January filing against Galea, Jefferson sought a court order preventing him from sharing information about the girl on social media.

Although Galea remains active on social media, her Instagram page has not featured a photo of Stella since May 5.

Jefferson’s complaint contained 2,023 text messages between him and Galea as they decided how to handle her pregnancy.

“So, you’re okay with this?” Jefferson wrote to Galea in a text message included in his file.

Jefferson also questioned whether Galea used Plan B, also known as the morning-after pill, to terminate the pregnancy.

“The longer you wait, the harder it will be, that’s why I wanted to give you plan B (because) I didn’t want to be in this situation, but it’s totally my fault, I shouldn’t have done it in the first place,” she wrote in a text message.

Galea replied: ‘Justin, I took plan B, although it was too late for it to work. Sometimes, depending on the cycle, unless you take it within 2 hours, it can be too late… and there are always two people to blame in this. Personally, I have never faced a situation like this…’

In her presentation, Galea claimed that Jefferson pressured her to have an abortion.

“Unfortunately, thereafter Defendant attempted to pressure Plaintiff into obtaining an abortion,” the filing reads. “Defendant actively encouraged Plaintiff to terminate the pregnancy by offering to do ‘whatever (Plaintiff) needed him to do.'”

“Realizing that he could not persuade Plaintiff to obtain an abortion, Defendant began to act with great callousness and extreme cruelty,” the filing continues. “Defendant prevented Plaintiff from communicating with him and coldly told her to ‘talk to me when legal issues arise.'”

In a text message, Jefferson told Galea that she was “bothering” him about Stella, forcing him to change his number as a result.

In another exchange, Jefferson told Galea, ‘If you wanted the child, you can take care of him.

“I tried to tell you this was how it was going to happen and you didn’t believe me,” he later added.

According to her file, Jefferson and Galea were previously close, and he even stayed at her mother’s house in New Jersey for “two weeks” during their college days at LSU.

Galea, a former Tigers swimmer, graduated cum laude from Miami Law School in 2023 and is just embarking on a legal career while raising her daughter with the help of her own mother.
