Justin Bieber is one step closer to identifying women who accused him of sexual assault

The pop star is taking legal action against two Twitter users who claimed on social media that he had sexually assaulted them.

And Justin Bieber has won the first round in the defamation case, with the Los Angeles Superior Court giving a motion to sue Twitter to identify the people behind the accounts, according to NBC News.

The defendants in the complaint are only identified as Jane Doe 1 and 2 – on Twitter they had the names Danielle and Kadi – and cannot be served until they have been identified, the outlet reported.

The Twitter subpoena helps identify them, but it may take months to obtain the information.

His lawyer, Evan N. Spiegel, told Terry Green, a Supreme Court judge in Los Angeles, “We just want to find out who is behind these two accounts and it could be the same person,” the outlet said.

The star’s lawyer told the judge that the accusers had not done their due diligence to “ make up ” their allegations, as both claims can be rebutted through eyewitnesses and paparazzi footage of the time.

The website also reported that the judge mispronounced the star’s surname and asked his lawyer if he could know who the accuser is.

According to NBC News, Evan said he is an artist known in certain demographic categories, to which the judge said, “I collect demographics, not 73 and older.”

The 26-year-old singer filed the lawsuit in late June against the accounts of Danielle and Kadi, who all claimed they had been victims in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

In legal documents, Justin stated that he has “indisputable evidence” to prove that the assault claims are “outrageous, made-up lies”, TMZ reported last month.

The Sorry hitmaker claims Danielle and Kadi’s tweets are “ evil ” because they seem to be a coordinated effort to damage his reputation.

In legal documents, according to TMZ, Bieber thinks the two social media accounts can actually be managed by the same person.

He’s looking for $ 20 million in damages, $ 10 million for each story.

On Monday, after taking the time to discuss with wife Hailey and “ his team, ” Bieber posted a series of tweets denying the charges of sexual assault against him and threatening legal action against his accusers.

After acknowledging that he has been subject to “arbitrary allegations” throughout his career, he said this time he decided to speak out because “rumors are rumors, but I don’t take sexual abuse lightly.”

Bieber tweeted: “ In the last 24 hours, a new Twitter appeared that told a story about myself involved in sexual abuse at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin Texas on March 9, 2014.

“I want to be clear. There is no truth in this story. As I will show later, I was never at that location. ‘

Bieber posted a series of tweets featuring stories, photos, and receipts that he believed were consistent with his claim that he was not in the Four Seasons, but rather in an Airbnb, then at the Westin Hotel on the nights of March 9 and 10, 2014, respectively.
