Justin Bieber feels ‘MISERABLE’ as wife Hailey spends millions of his fortune on these wild luxuries, including a second engagement ring worth $1.5 million, sources claim

Earlier this month, Justin Bieber performed at a lavish pre-wedding party for the billionaire son of India’s richest man, looking haggard, exhausted and stressed.

Fresh off a direct flight from Los Angeles to Mumbai, Bieber performed a long repertoire of his greatest hits as part of Anant Ambani’s lavish wedding celebration that lasted months and spanned several continents.

Hours later, he was returning to California, home to his pregnant wife, Hailey.

Bieber reportedly cashed a $10 million check for the concert. But, given that the 30-year-old megastar is already sitting on a comfortable $300 million fortune, the question arose:

Why had he stepped away from his future wife to perform at such a frivolous event? Did he need the money so badly?

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com this week, two sources close to Bieber have claimed the star is becoming increasingly desperate.

“Hailey is a big spender,” said a source. “She has spent tens of millions on private jets to fly around the world, even once taking a plane just to get her nails done at a particular nail salon.”

What’s more, Bieber is apparently no longer the music-making giant he once was, something both insiders attributed to Hailey.

“He’s isolated from his friends and family. He’s miserable right now because Hailey has taken complete control over him. He’s lost his identity, his creative drive and has no inspiration,” one said.

That description is certainly a far cry from the confident 12-year-old who first appeared on stage in 2009, performing his debut single ‘One Time’.

Fast forward to today: Bieber hasn’t released a new album since 2021 and hasn’t toured since 2022, after cutting short his “Justice” show series due to a health issue.

Announcing the cancellation of the world tour, he told fans in September 2022 that he was making “health a priority” following a terrifying bout of facial paralysis caused by Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

Then, in January 2023, there was another surprise: Bieber announced that he would sell the rights to his entire catalog of 291 songs.

Bieber’s work has reportedly been purchased by music investment firm Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million. In exchange, he will no longer receive royalties on any songs he has released or had a hand in before December 31, 2021.

Some people close to Bieber were reportedly shocked by the decision to sell.

Successful musicians traditionally look to shed their catalogs near the end of their careers, when windfall money can help fund their expensive lifestyles while they step out of the spotlight.

“Justin was advised not to sell. Hailey played a big role in convincing him to do so,” a source said.

In May, the couple renewed their wedding vows in Hawaii, with Hailey revealing her pregnancy and a new engagement ring featuring an 18-carat oval-cut diamond estimated to cost $1.5 million and which will accompany her original dazzling 10-carat ring priced at $600,000.

Now she uses both.

“Justin was initially against[buying the new ring]and some people told him it was horrible for her to ask for it,” a source said, adding that Hailey “told Justin he had to have it to renew their vows. In the end, he got what he wanted.”

Hailey’s influence is even said to extend to Bieber’s attire, which in recent years has gone from a more polished style to a grunge look.

“Before, Hailey just wanted Justin to look hot,” a source said. “Now she likes him looking scruffy because she thinks girls won’t approach him that way.”

When asked to respond to these claims, a representative for the couple declined to comment and dismissed the allegations as “outrageous.”

Hailey’s increased control over her husband’s life may have been out of necessity.

Bieber has long been open about his struggles with addiction.

He began smoking marijuana at age 12, before moving on to abusing pills and alcohol, once describing drugs as a “numbing agent” that helped him deal with the stress of celebrity.

“My security people would come into my room at night to check my pulse,” she admitted in a 2020 documentary. “People don’t know how serious it got. It was really crazy and scary.”

After the couple tied the knot in 2018, Bieber seemed to settle into a more serene lifestyle, telling GQ that being with Hailey had given him “someone to love” and a stable home.

“Before, I didn’t have that to look forward to in my life,” he said.

But cracks soon began to appear in their relationship. The couple spoke openly about their problems during their first year of marriage, during which Bieber battled bouts of severe depression.

In a 2021 podcast, Hailey revealed: “There were days where I was literally like, ‘I don’t know if this is going to be OK.’ I think that was the hardest thing. There are no guarantees.”

Earlier this year, rumours began circulating online that trouble was once again brewing at Chez Bieber, a theory that was only bolstered by Hailey’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin, who sensationally asked the public to “pray” for the couple in a social media post in February.

Hailey attempted to shut down the rumors, taking to Instagram herself the following month, insisting that any claims about martial arts fighting “come from the land of deception” and are “always false.”

But in April, things got even worse when Justin posted a worrying selfie with tears streaming down his face, sparking frenzied speculation about an impending split — especially since no clear explanation for the photo has yet emerged.

It’s true that the Biebers have been through some rough patches before, but it remains to be seen whether this latest setback will prove too much of a challenge for a marriage that, by their own admission, has been plagued by difficulties.
