Justin Bieber fans today told of their fears that the singer’s social media meltdown is linked to his childhood friendship with embattled US rapper P Diddy.
The singer, 30, sparked concern over the weekend by posting a series of selfies on Instagram that showed him crying.
In one, the sad singer stared into the camera looking completely dejected with a tear rolling down his cheek.
The photos led some fans to suggest a rift between the Canadian musician and his wife Hailey, 27, was to blame.
But others say reminders of his friendship with hip hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs may have increased the emotional pressure on the fragile Bieber in recent weeks.
Justin Bieber has left his fans worried after he shared selfies showing him crying over the weekend.
P-Diddy is under investigation for alleged sex trafficking and police raided his Los Angeles home in March.
Coombs, 54, is currently under US federal investigation for alleged sex trafficking.
Footage of Combs hanging out with Bieber, 15, resurfaced last month after the rapper’s homes were raided in connection with the investigation.
And fans fear disturbing video clips circulating online have caused a sudden deterioration in his well-being.
Amid the police investigation, a 14-year-old video from Bieber’s YouTube channel resurfaced in which Diddy talks about spending ’48 hours’ with the ‘Baby’ singer.
The ‘creepy’ segment from when Bieber was 15 and Combs was 39, shows Diddy telling the camera that the pair will spend 48 hours together at his Los Angeles home, but he can’t reveal exactly what they would be doing.
The clip began with Combs talking to Bieber about driving. “As soon as you turn 16, you know what I’m saying, I’ll let you rock this every time you come to L.A.,” Combs tells Bieber as he shows her a Lamborghini under a tarp.
Combs removes the cover and Bieber tells him, ‘I mean, I’m 15; You could ride in the passenger seat. I got my permit.’
“You’re not ready yet,” Combs tells Bieber. ‘Decelerate. Slow down, Justin.
As Justin previously posted the crying photos without a caption, fans became concerned and speculated in the comments.
The singer, 30, took to his Instagram several times over the weekend and shared several different photo dumps that sparked concern among fans.
His wife Hailey Bieber wrote that she thought her husband was “a pretty crybaby” in the comments below the post.
It comes as lurid images of fifteen-year-old Diddy and Bieber emerged online after the rapper faces an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
Justin and Hailey got married in 2018 and have frequently encountered rumors of marital problems since then.
Justin did not caption any of his posts and did not give the reason for his tears, causing concern among his followers.
Combs tells the camera. ‘Have you ever seen the movie 48 Hours? Right now, he’s spending 48 hours with Diddy, he and his son are having the time of their lives.
‘Where we go out and what we do; We can’t really reveal it. But it’s definitely every 15-year-old’s dream. They have given me custody of him.
Combs adds that Bieber was signed to Usher’s label at the time. ‘He had legal guardianship of Usher when he made his first album; “I made Usher’s first album,” Combs tells Bieber. “I don’t have legal guardianship of (Justin), but for the next 48 hours, he will be with me.”
Combs says he and Bieber would go “completely crazy” during their time together.
As for what Bieber wanted to do with his time, he says, “Let’s go find some girls.”
“A man after my own heart,” Combs says. ‘That’s what I’m talking about.’
In another clip, Diddy and Bieber are together in a recording studio, where Bieber was believed to be recording his 2010 debut album, My World 2.0.
‘What’s up man, are you okay?’ Combs asks Bieber, who seems uncomfortable as the older musician looks at him from behind tinted sunglasses. ‘Sell stadiums and all that? Starting to act different, huh? You haven’t been calling me or hanging out like we used to hang out.
Bieber shuffles and mutters, “Well, I mean, you haven’t… you tried to contact me through all my, you know, my partners and all that, but you never really got my number.” Do you want my number? I’ll tell you my number.
The resurfaced clips come as Homeland Security conducted raids on Diddy’s mansions in Miami and Los Angeles.
In a statement following the police raids on Diddy’s home, the rapper’s lawyer called them an “unprecedented ambush.”
Another 26-second clip from several years later was taken at a party and a woman can be heard saying: ‘Happy birthday Justin!’
Diddy handed Justin a bottle before the singer knelt down and drank from it. The clip then cuts to other moments at the party where Justin and Diddy dance and cameras flash.
The video is believed to have been taken between 2015 and 2016, making Justin a teenager.
Justin and Hailey got married in 2018 and have frequently received rumors of marital problems since then.
The speculation was recently reignited by Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, who posted about the ‘special challenges’ the couple was facing in a since-deleted post on Instagram in February.
The Usual Suspects actor, 57, asked for “a small prayer so that they have wisdom, protection and come closer to the Lord.”
After a source told TMZ that Hailey was upset with her father over the comment, the Drop the Mic star has made several efforts to shut down subsequent rumors.
While celebrating her boyfriend’s 30th birthday last month, Hailey shared a photo from her wedding to Justin with a sweet tribute.
In addition to the criminal investigation, Diddy has also been accused in several recent lawsuits of sexual abuse.
In a lawsuit that Combs settled the day after his performance in November, his former protégé and girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, sued him alleging years of sexual abuse, including rape. The lawsuit says he forced her to have sex with prostitutes while she filmed them.
In February, a music producer filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs forced him to hire prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with them. Another of Combs’ accusers was a woman who said he raped her two decades ago, when she was 17 years old.
Combs and his attorneys have denied all allegations in the lawsuits.
After the federal raids, Combs’ representatives released a force, calling it “military-grade overuse.”
“Yesterday there was a serious excessive use of force at the military level when search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” the statement said.
‘There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility shown by the authorities or the way their children and employees were treated. Combs was never arrested, but he spoke and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his relatives have been arrested, nor has his ability to travel been restricted in any way.
