A woman was attacked by a shark while swimming at the beach.
Emergency services were called to the scene following the attack on Jurien Bay beach in Western Australia at 11.50am on Monday.
The woman is believed to have been bitten on the leg and the extent of her injuries is unknown.
A St John WA spokeswoman said a RAC rescue helicopter is on standby.
