REVEALED: Jurgen Klopp got Benfica & # 39; s B team to secretly imitate Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen before Liverpool & # 39; s Champions League final win at Tottenham
- Jurgen Klopp arranged a special friendly match against Benfica & # 39; s B-team in Marbella
- The Liverpool boss asked their opponents to set up exactly like Tottenham
- Three young players imitated Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen
- They copied Spurs & # 39; formation, set pieces and their style of play from the back
- Extra preparation seemed to work when Liverpool won the Champions League
Jurgen Klopp made extra efforts in his preparations for the Champions League final by getting Benfica & # 39; s B team to mimic Harry Kane and Co in a warm-up match.
The Liverpool boss kindly organized the doors behind closed doors during his training camp in Marbella in the run-up to Saturday's final.
But instead of simply earning a few minutes for his team during the three-week break between competitive games, Klopp ensured that the opposition was set up to play as Spurs – complete with their own Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

Jurgen Klopp ensured that Benfica & # 39; s B team played a secret friendly way, just like Tottenham
Benfica B's manager, Renato Paiva, this week revealed Klopp's methods to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, describing exactly what his young players were doing to copy Mauricio Pochettino's playing style.
As well as assuming the same formation and playing in the same way from the back, Paiva also entrusted three of his players to play the specific roles of the main Tottenham trio Kane, Alli and Eriksen.
Jose Gomes took the role of Kane, Bernardo Dias was Alli and Vinicius Ferreira did the work of Eriksen during the match when the Liverpool players became aware of what they could expect in the Wanda Metropolitano.
& # 39; We have recreated two of their offensive and two of their defensive moments, as well as the set pieces that we thought would be used in the final & # 39 ;, Paiva told A Bola.
& # 39; We replicated their rugby training and goalkeeper building trajectories, their 4-2-3-1 defensive form with the striker between the middle backs of the opponent and the 10 that obstructed Liverpool & 6. Vinicius imitated Eriksen, Bernardo acted more like Alli and Gomes was Kane.
& # 39; We had to adapt to that form of 4-2-3-1, both defensive and in possession, with two midfielders sitting closer to the middle ridges during the build-up to try and attract the Liverpool press.
& # 39; Tottenham would ideally like to draw Liverpool players closer to their box, so after a few passes between the middle back and the keeper, they can then attack the back room with their forward and full backs.

& # 39; We only made a small adjustment to our normal system in the end. A midfield triangle in which Alli moves closer to the center of the opponent (with Kane next to the other), Eriksen moves in to pull the entire back in while Trippier covers the large space. Very much like with Son and Rose on the left. & # 39;
The secret friend seemed to have helped Liverpool because they comfortably closed Tottenham's attacking threat of a 2-0 win in Madrid, claiming their sixth European Cup.
Paiva added: & # 39; Klopp complimented us – & # 39; When you dropped your middle back to build, we immediately set up the same press that we used against Manchester City and you still managed to beat it three or four times! & # 39; & # 39;
