Former US President Barack Obama is currently in Australia on an expensive speaking tour, hosted by former Secretary of State Julie Bishop.
The Australian politician, who is known for her keen sense of fashion, chose an elegant ensemble to attend the Obama conference in Sydney on Tuesday night.
The 66-year-old spared no expense, showing up at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney wearing a cream suit by Carla Zamppatti valued at a total of $1,848.
She paired the stylish Australian brand’s Ivory Crepe Scalloped Jacket with an Ivory Crepe Wide Waisted Pant.
The stylish jacket alone costs $1,249 while the matching pants go for $599.

Tickets for Obama’s speaking dates range in price from $195 to A$895, and the ex-president’s trip is expected to fetch up to A$1 million.
The 61-year-old will continue his tour of Melbourne on Wednesday night where he will speak at the John Kane Arena.
