Julia Roberts and George Clooney rom-com Ticket to Paradise gets release date
Ticket to Paradise, a romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, will hit theaters in fall 2022.
The release date for the film is set for September 30, 2022, according to Universal Pictures Variety
The film, directed by Ol Parker, reunites the A-listers, who have collaborated in films in the past, including 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve, and 2016’s Money Monster.

Roberts was featured in Clooney’s directorial debut Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, also starring Sam Rockwell and Drew Barrymore.
In Ticket to Paradise, Clooney, 59, and Roberts, 53, play a former couple who want to help their daughter make the mistakes they made in their relationship.
Production of the film – which Parker co-wrote with Daniel Pipski – will begin later this year in Queensland, Australia.
The Australian federal government offers tax breaks to the studio for filming there as part of Queensland’s production attraction strategy.
The film brings together the A-listers, who have collaborated in the past in films, including 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2016’s Money Monster.

Clooney’s most recent project was his directing and starring role in 2020’s The Midnight Sky starring Felicity Jones and David Oyelowo.
Roberts was last seen on the big screen in the 2018 drama Ben Is Back, as well as the Amazon Prime show Homecoming.
Universal had previously set a date for a movie release; It’s tentatively slated to hit theaters in 2022 after Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (September 7) and before Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (October 7), Deadline reported.
