Julia Morris admits she’s thinking about leaving husband Dan Thomas “ once a year ” – and has considered getting her own flat to take a break after their 18-year marriage.

She is the always hilarious TV host who has been married to her husband, Welsh comedian Dan Thomas for 18 years.

And on Saturday, Julia Morris openly admitted that she is thinking about leaving her doting partner at least “ once a year, ” in an interview with Stellar magazine.

The 52-year-old, who shares daughters Ruby, 14, and Sophie, 12, with Dan, admitted that the duo sometimes had fiery arguments that led her to think twice about leaving the home they share.

“Once a year we’ll have a fight and I’ll be like,” These are bulls ** t, we don’t have to live like that, “and he’ll think the same,” she said.

“We’re going to start a bit of a blame game where you can’t do anything right and they annoy you at the living daylight, and imagine you just have a flat where you can sit on the couch all week.”

The duo have faced many challenges during their nearly two-decade marriage, including miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy, and Dan’s battle with cancer – of which he is now clear.

Julia – who has just released her own ‘anti-self-help’ book – admitted that the couple’s arguments don’t last, and soon they’re back to married bliss.

‘I can’t imagine being without him and alone,’ she added, noting, ‘If we break up, I can’t do the admin.’

Julia recently revealed how she and her family were brought closer together during the strict COVID-19 lockdown in Melbourne last year.

In an interview with TV Week, the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! Star said the family learned how to communicate with each other more efficiently after fights for the first six weeks.

“There was something, after those first six weeks, where, I think, we just found a new way to live,” she said.

“ If we got some kind of storm, the girls would come right back and just say, ‘OK, well, the reason I did that was because of this,’ and I said, ‘Yeah, right – you totally see.’ It was amazing.’
