Julia Fox was outraged at being reduced to a ‘sexual object’ as she posed topless in stunning photos for the December/January cover of Cosmopolitan Britain.
The actress and model, 33, opened up about how women’s bodies should be celebrated and how she has been ‘slapped with the label’ of a ‘sexual being’, before joking: ‘sex is the last thing I do. this body.’
For the accompanying shoot, she put on a spirited show in sheer black tights with fur details as she braved a storm.
She said: ‘Women’s bodies should be celebrated and not just seen as sexual objects. Anyone who gets mad at me for showing a lot of skin has put this label on me as a sexual being.
‘But I am so much more than that – and sex is the last thing I do with this body. I am proud of my body. Why not wear something revealing, cool and artsy? Why would I choose to interpret my body as a sexual object?’

She also talked about how she wants to use her early encounters with men to help today’s young women.
The beauty – who has just released her memoir Down the Drain – said her experiences were ‘hard to look back on’ and that she now understands she was a ‘victim’.
Julia explained: ‘My early encounters with men are difficult to look back on. Same s**t, different face… I understand now that I was a victim, but the feeling of being a victim never feels good.
‘It doesn’t feel empowering. It felt very vulnerable… but writing about it, I just pushed through it – I couldn’t stop – knowing that I am not unique in the experiences that so many women go through.
‘I speak and write today with young women in mind. I want my overall message to be that you can always change your life. Decide you want to do this right now, or decide you don’t want to do it anymore – it’s never too late to turn it around.’
During the chat, Julia also discussed her brief dating with rapper Kanye West in early 2022.
She said she has to “constantly resist being defined by that and that the association between them is ‘irritating.’
The Uncut Gems icon explained, “A lot of times when I’m in the media, his name is right next to mine.

“It’s annoying – in the grand scheme of my life it was a millisecond. That doesn’t mean I don’t like him, I just don’t. I am my own person. I have had many successes, before and after him.’
For the shoot, she stunned with a variety of other looks, including a red bralet and structured skirt.
In October, Julia claimed Kanye offered to pay for her plastic surgery during a game of Uno.
She says this in her new memoir Down the Drain.
Julia wrote that the pair were hanging out in a hotel room when the 46-year-old rapper made the shocking proposal, according to excerpts shared by The guard.
“We spend the day playing Uno and a game that highlights positive words in the dictionary,” she shared in her tome.
“I’ll get you a boob job if you want,” he told her.
Julia said she turned down the offer.
Looking back, Julia told the network that she realized she was “being used as a pawn in this grand scheme to get back at his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.”
“That’s humiliating,” Julia added. “That’s a really bad position to be in.”
In an interview with the The Los Angeles Times Last month, Julia echoed this sentiment, saying Kanye was “weaponizing” her against Kim because the famous couple’s breakup was messy at the time, as Kanye began using social media to harass Kim and make her private messages public.
Although she said she “really understood him on a visceral level” and believed their pairing “could be something real,” Julia said Kanye ultimately didn’t treat her the way she expected.
“I just felt like his little puppet,” she added.
Although she used strong words for the LA Times interview, Julia said she was “light-handed” in describing her time with Kanye in the book, even though she hadn’t signed a non-disclosure agreement.
‘I will not sign a ****** NDA purely on principle. I never have, and I never will,” she explained, before adding, “Unless it’s a professional opportunity, of course.”
She also hinted that she may have been blacklisted from projects due to her association with the controversial star, who was dropped by several brands following his anti-Semitic comments.
“I’m sure I feel like doing certain things, but I couldn’t do it because of my relationship with Kanye. It’s pretty wild.’
Julia also said that despite all the attention, she was never too invested in romance.
“It actually wasn’t that big of a deal, but other people made such a big deal out of it.”
After the fight with Kanye, Julia swore off men for a while, admitting that she still doesn’t see the point in dating.

For now, the most important man in her life is her adorable son Valentino, two, who she welcomed with her ex-husband Peter Artemiev.
‘All the confirmation I could ever get, I get from my son: the love, the intimacy, the closeness. We sleep together at night. I have all that. I wouldn’t want anyone to come in and take my attention or time away from my son.”
