Judd Apatow proudly joins daughter Maude Apatow in a screening of the latest Netflix series Hollywood by Ryan Murphy
Judd Apatow was the proud father when he accompanied daughter Maude, 22, to Sunday night’s premiere on Ryan Murphy’s Netflix mini-series Hollywood.
Maude, who appeared in the popular HBO series Euphoria in 2019, returns to the small screen as fictional character Henrietta in Murphy’s latest television creation.
The series, which will appear on the streaming platform from 1 May, follows ‘aspiring actors trying to navigate the changing industry’ in Los Angeles after the Second World War.

Maude plays alongside actor Darren Criss, as well as other Ryan Murphy government salums David Corenswet, Patti LuPone and Dylan McDermott.
The 22-year-old looked radiant in a mini dress with flowers and a high neck, which she wore with a light pink blazer.
Her brunette locks were nicely styled in an elegant half-up, half-down ‘, with which shutterbugs could take a look at the enviable bone structure of the young actress.
Maude has kept her makeup to a minimum and opted for a classically beautiful bold lip and soft shadow combination.
Mad for Maude: the 22-year-old stunned in a mini dress with a floral print with a high neck, which she combined with hot pink pumps and a tailored light pink blazer
Her next role: the aspiring actress will portray the fictional character Henrietta in Murphy’s latest project that will appear on the streaming platform on May 1
She completed her screening ensemble with a satin champagne-colored clutch and a pair of hot pink ankle-pump pumps.
Judd looked sharp in a black blazer, which he combined with dark jeans and a blue-gray button down shirt.
Hollywood is Murphy’s second series with Netflix, which first reached the platform in 2019 with his comedy drama The Politician, with Broadway alum Ben Platt and the Bohemian Rhapsody actress Lucy Boynton.
Maude was accompanied by fellow castmates Michelle Krusiec, David Corenswet, Jeremy Pope, Laura Harrier, Maude Apatow, Jake Picking and Dylan McDermott during the screening at the San Vicente Bungalows.

According to Murphy, “every character [in the show] will be confronted with various prejudices often seen in Hollywood, including discrimination based on race, gender, and sexuality. “
The idea for the series was a collaboration between Criss and Murphy who were not present at the screening of the evening.
“Ryan and I had a dinner where he shared that he wanted to do a period piece that was young and optimistic. We came up with the idea of a series with various Hollywood stories from the 40s. Two days later Netflix bought it. That’s not just a testament to the magic of Ryan Murphy, it’s a reminder of the kind of things that can only happen in Hollywood … literally, “Criss wrote about the origin of the show on his Instagram in September.
