A university professor has claimed children should be exposed to adult genitalia to prepare them for the possibility of seeing a trans person naked, in a shocking swipe at swimmer Riley Gaines.
Journalism professor Dr Katja Thieme made the comment in a Twitter post she shared criticizing swimmer and women’s rights advocate Riley Gaines.
Thieme, who teaches at the University of British Columbia, had received a video on Twitter of Gaines explaining the effects of having to compete against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.
In a lengthy response to the video, in which Thieme blasted Gaines, she also tweeted, “Hey wanna know one of my all time great parenting ideas?”
‘Let. Little. Children. See. Penis. And. Vulvas. From. Miscellaneous. Age. And. Sizes. In. A. Occasional. Normalized. Totally. On. Path.’

She continued, “The world will thank you for this. And so will these children when they grow up.
Thieme also hit back at Gaines who has become a leading voice against the inclusion of transgender athletes in women’s sports.
Gaines had competed after finishing tied for fifth against controversial trans swimmer Lia Thomas in last year’s NCAA Championship.
She previously said the racing experience of Thomas, who raced in men’s competition until 2019, “felt like I was going into the race with my hands tied behind my back.”
During his Twitter feed last month, Thieme called Gaines a transphobe and said, “Gaines is crying about the emotional effect it had on her that Thomas held the trophy which she also won.”
‘It’s just whining. What a bad not-even-loser.
The professor also claimed that incidents involving women feeling uncomfortable after meeting biological men in locker rooms are fueling “anti-trans activism”.
Her thread continued: “A teenage girl on the swim team sees or claims to have seen a naked trans person in the women’s locker room. His or her anti-trans parent(s) kicks into high gear.;

Thieme had shared a thread on Gaines and expressed his thoughts on anti-trans hate

According to his profile on the University’s website, Thieme was educated in Germany before attending the University of British Columbia.
“They lean on the coaches: tell trans people to change somewhere else. The coach says, no, we can’t, it’s discriminatory.
“They rely on the club admin to send a warning message to all members that trans people are using these facilities. Admin says, no, that’s crazy and that would be very wrong.
“They contact Riley Gaines or other transphobes of their choice, they organize demonstrations, events, meetings, auditions, etc.”
Since her thread, Thieme has now made her Twitter profile private, DailyMail.com approached her for a comment.
Thieme was widely criticized, with one person claiming her Tweet was the “definition of grooming”.
One person said: ‘So now to accommodate men in robes we have to routinely expose the genitals to children. Do these people ever consider that other people have different beliefs? »

For her remarks on the social media site, the professor was widely criticized and has now turned her profile to private
Another posted: “This is the absolute definition of grooming. I would be interested to see if the university did anything about it, although knowing how liberalism is so pervasive in academia and in Canada, I sadly doubt it. They probably encouraged her.
While another shared: ‘If this woman has children she needs to be investigated. She. East. sick.’
Gaines previously slammed her rival Lia Thomas after she called on President Biden to let transgender student athletes compete unhindered against their gender of choice.
Gaines was upset after Thomas appeared in a video criticizing Biden’s proposal to amend the current Title IX civil rights law, which prohibits gender discrimination in schools.

Since graduating, Gaines has become a vocal advocate for protecting women’s sports from the infiltration and domination of transgender athletes.
She said trans athletes should be allowed to compete in school competitions without exception.
Biden’s planned change prohibits schools from imposing coverage banks on trans athletes in kindergarten through eighth grade.
But it gives high schools the power to ban trans athletes from competing if they feel there are clear equity issues, which are much more likely to arise with trans girls who have gone through male puberty.
Gaines tweeted, “This take is selfish and shows complete disregard for women. The Biden administration is actively and aggressively working to pass laws that erase decent and fair treatment for women in sport.
Earlier this year, Gaines also publicly backed Ron DeSantis in the 2024 race for the White House, having previously backed former President Donald Trump.
