Josie Gibson stormed out of the Capital Breakfast studio as she broke down in tears during Monday’s show as part of an elaborate prank on host Jordan North.
The This Morning presenter, 39, made sure she had the last laugh after Jordan gifted her a Christmas pudding costume, however it backfired.
Taking on the role, Josie began to open the gift while Jordan excitedly joked: “I think you should bring my gift on Christmas Day.
However, the radio DJ’s gift didn’t land as expected and a somber atmosphere took over the studio as she unwrapped the pudding costume.
Addressing a crew member off-air, he said: ‘Tom, I told you I didn’t want to talk about this. I told you, as if we knew each other, and I told you I didn’t want to talk about it.
Tom then responded, “Umm, I thought it would be funny because of the Christmas pudding story.”

Josie became upset and continued: ‘Did you think it would be funny? I almost died. Like I told you, this isn’t even funny, can we stop this?

Maintaining her role, Josie added: ‘This is really bad,’ before bursting into tears and storming out of the studio.
As Jordan continued to apologize, Sian Welby ran after the star as she protested: “No, let me, I’ll talk to you.’
Josie called from off camera and joked: ‘Go south of the Jordan to the north! while exclaiming, ‘My God, I’m so sorry.’ What the devil? Oh my god.’
Jordan and fellow host Chris Stark were overcome with confusion at Josie’s outburst as the former asked, “Does this exist?”
However, the pair only stood squirming for a moment before Josie and Sian returned laughing as Sian announced: “Just kidding!”
Josie, hysterical, joked: “I I thought after that I would go to Hollywood, that was really good! I didn’t even realize it was that good, it should be on Eastenders!’
