That's the verdict of Sky Sports man Paul Merson on Chelsea's new midfielder.
Chelsea squandered 50 million pounds to bring him to the club from Napoli this summer.
He already started paying that fee with a goal in his Premier League debut for the Blues at Huddersfield today.
And Merson believes it will be the beginning of a productive spell with the West London club.
"I think Jorginho is an appropriate player," Merson said. Sky Sports.
"You just hope it does not end up like an Aquilani.
"When he came to Liverpool, he had all those figures, he was the best passer in Italy.
"They do not play the way we play, you get the goalkeeper's ball in Italy, you raise your head and start spraying it to the left, to the right and to the center.
"When Aquilani came, he would get the ball and someone (he would take it) and he would say, 'Where did the ball go?'. Then all these things will take time.
"But he will become a suitable player when he gets used to the game.
"I can understand what he says, I think this will take time."
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is expecting a difficult start to life at the club.
"Jorginho: the Chelsea star is an 'appropriate player' according to Paul Merson"
Antonio Conte won the Premier League title 2016-17 in his first season in charge, reviving the Blues from a tenth place in the previous season.
But Sarri does not expect the same.
"I hope that the second part of the season, for us, is very good with many points." he He said.
"I expect some problems in the first part of the season."
