Jordan Pickford has revealed how he knew where Anthony Gordon was going to place his penalty in Everton’s draw with Newcastle.
The Magpies were awarded a penalty for the second week in a row when James Tarkowski dragged Sando Tonali into the box on the half-hour mark.
Gordon stepped forward to take the ball in the absence of Alexander Isak, but his attempt was stopped by his former Toffees team-mate Pickford, who dived to his left.
