Jono Castaño has revealed that his focus on fitness is now as much on his mental health as his physical self.
The famous personal trainer, who welcomed his first child earlier this year with his ex Simone Holtznagel, tells the Daily Telegraph that as he grows, his priorities have changed.
“It’s crucial to find balance between work, relationships and self-care,” the 33-year-old said.
“Prioritizing time for family, health, and personal interests alongside professional commitments leads to a fuller, more meaningful life.”
He continued: ‘Exercise greatly improves mental state by releasing endorphins, reducing stress and increasing self-esteem.
“It improves mood, promotes better sleep, and can foster social connections, all of which contribute to overall mental well-being.”
The ACERO gym owner says his mental health and time to himself are a priority moving forward.
“The most important lifestyle lesson I’ve learned is to not forget about self-care,” Jono told the publication.

“When I prioritize my mental self-care, I can manage stress more effectively, think more creatively, and maintain a positive outlook on life.”
It comes after Simone Holtznagel took another savage swipe at her ex-boyfriend following their bitter split.
The Australian model, 31, quietly split from the personal trainer about nine weeks after they welcomed daughter Gia on Easter Sunday.
Jono finally confirmed the news of their breakup in July, and Simone has since said she is raising Gia alone and cryptically commented that she “couldn’t change” her partner.

The Australia’s Next Top Model star has dropped another thinly veiled dig at her ex-boyfriend while making a revealing move on social media.
In her latest coup, she liked an Instagram post that joked about feeling nauseated by the father of her child.
Alongside a shot of Rowan Atkinson’s iconic character Mr. Bean vomiting in disgust, a caption read: “Knowing you were once attracted to the father of your child.”
A humorous caption written by content creator JayDee Milo added: “Who feels like (vomit emoji)???”
Simone’s representatives declined to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.

The dig comes after Simone broke her silence on their split saying she “couldn’t change” the man she loved while hinting at the reasons behind their split.
‘I wanted to set an example for my daughter; That’s something that changed for me. One day I thought: ‘What am I doing? This is not right.’ And I would hate for her to ever be in this situation,” he said. Stellar.
‘You have to do what is right for you at the end of the day. No matter how many promises or anything else people do, when they show you who they are, believe them. Because you can’t change people.’
Simone also said she is happy to be raising her six-month-old baby Gia alone and is confident she made the right decision.
‘I have never felt more confident about anything and I know I can do it alone. “It’s a shame I have to do it alone, but I couldn’t really think any other way,” she said.

“What I’m doing seems very good to me, the most important thing for me is that Gia is happy and healthy, and that I am happy too.”
In another blow, Simone recently addressed the positives and negatives of being a “single” mother, despite apparently sharing parenting duties with Jono.
In a recent interview, Simone did not mention Jono in an apparent swipe as she thanked her family and friends for supporting her.
When asked about the aspect of motherhood that surprised her, Simone told Women’s Health: ‘Positive: I can do it alone. Negative: I’m doing this alone.
“My family and friends have done everything they can for me and I’m lucky that the negatives feel a lot easier when they’re by my side.”
Simone welcomed her daughter Gia with Jono on Easter Sunday, but the couple went their separate ways just nine weeks later, with Jono confirming the news in late July.
“Who knows what the future holds, our idea is simply to be the best parents for Gia at this stage,” he told Daily Mail Australia in a statement at the time.
A close friend of the couple later revealed that the writing was on the wall regarding the end of Simone and Jono’s relationship for quite some time.
A source told The Daily Telegraph that several friends and family warned Simone that her modeling lifestyle was not compatible with Jono’s fitness influencer career.
