Jonnie Peacock has won bronze for ParalympicsGB in Tokyo, with Germany’s Felix Streng victorious.

Two-time Paralympic champion Peacock was flanked by Streng and Sherman Isidro Guity Guity from Costa Rica.

And after a long wait, Peacock was confirmed as a joint bronze medalist alongside Johannes Floors of Germany.

“There are two ways to take it — as a kid of 15 I would have been really happy to make it to a final,” Peacock said. “Looking back at it, I hate myself — I felt it in my chest, started sitting back and everyone came through.

“Looking back I know I could have won that and I should have won.”
