Joni Mitchell was spotted on a very rare outing in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The iconic 81-year-old folk singer looked radiant as she bundled up in a long black coat and floral leggings while being guided by her male companion and her cane.

The star kept a low profile, sporting a dark cap and designer sunglasses as her signature long blonde locks cascaded over her shoulders in braids.

While the Both Sides Now singer rarely ventures out lately, the star is keeping her musical talent sharp as she prepares to perform at the highly anticipated FireAid benefit concert next week.

Earlier that day, the vocalist took her instagram to once again share the star-studded line-up of the relief fundraiser and promote not only their return to the stage after a three-month hiatus, but also the good cause.

Other stars also performing at the event include Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Jelly Roll, Gracie Abrams, Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Katy Perry.

First posted at the Intuit Dome stadium in Inglewood, California, approximately 20 miles from the Palisades Fire, FireAid aims to raise millions for those who have been displaced due to the raging infernos in the greater Los Angeles area.

FireAid is confirmed to take place on January 30. And the benefit is expected to be so great that the party will be held jointly between the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, about a mile and a half away.

Information on tickets, donations and sponsorships for the benefit concert is available through the Intuit Dome website and Ticketmaster. The performances will be broadcast live globally.

General sale tickets became available to the public on Wednesday at 12 pm PST. According to Ticketmaster, 100% of ticket sales will go directly to “relief efforts” and resale of tickets for the event is not permitted.

Prices start at $750 each for terrace level seating and $5,000 each for floor seating.

‘Joni will join an incredible lineup of artists for the FireAid benefit concert, taking place on January 30, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Get your tickets at Ticketmaster.com,” says the singer’s publication.

Fans flooded the comments with support for the Big Yellow Taxi hitmaker’s efforts and for lending her talents to the charity event.

“I love this thank you for harnessing your talent, your heart, and your passion for people during a time like this…this is the kind of thing that separates you from so many others,” one follower wrote.

Mitchell took the stage for the final time at the 2024 Grammys with a moving performance of her hit song Both Sides Now.

Last week, sources close to the event confirmed via TMZ that all participating artists are based in Los Angeles, adding a heartfelt local touch to the benefit.

The stakes for FireAid could not be higher. As California faces several destructive wildfires, the Palisades Fire has been considered one of the most destructive in California history.

More than 100,000 residents of the City of Los Angeles were forced to flee their homes and 27 have been confirmed dead as scattered fires continued to break out in Southern California.

Many famous faces have taken to their social media pages to repost free resources available to those who have been victimized or displaced due to the devastating wildfires.

Among those affected were several celebrities who lost their million-dollar mansions, although most of the people affected by the fires are neither famous nor rich.

Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Jen Atkin are among those whose homes have been destroyed by the inferno.
