During a recent interview with the Associated PressMajors talked about the upcoming project.
“Hopefully, I can sit down with him and have a chat with him when we get closer and (are) trying to get the script right,” Majors said. “I never really put a ceiling on myself, but this is definitely a role where I’m pushing that ceiling. Because he demands that. He’s such a complete individual, so he’s going to demand a lot and I have to figure out how to get it.”
Rodman is listed as an executive producer on the film, tentatively titled “48 Hours in Las Vegas,” along with Phil Lord and Chris Miller. No release date has been set.
“There is only one Dennis Rodman. In 1998, there was no one on Earth with whom it was more fun, or perhaps more dangerous, to have fun with. And yet it’s not half of what it is,” said Lionsgate’s Nathan Kahane, president of the film’s distributor.
“This film takes you on an unforgettable journey with the myth, the legend and also the man that Dennis is, behind everything you think you know,” he added. “(His) incredible career and his life will make for a film that is eccentrically hilarious but completely human and emotional. Do you think you know something about ‘The Worm’? Just wait!”
