The ‘Creed III’ star, 33, was arrested Saturday morning on charges of ‘strangulation, assault and harassment’, New York police officials told DailyMail.com.
In new photos of Majors leaving New York criminal court, the actor is seen wearing a baseball cap emblazoned with the words ‘FREEDOM FREEDOM’ and a large surgical mask.
Sources said that his attorney or representative appeared to be using his translucent umbrella to shield his client from the camera as they left the establishment.
Police were first called around 11:15 a.m. Saturday and found an unidentified 30-year-old woman with head and neck injuries. She said that she had been assaulted.
No further details of what allegedly happened have yet been revealed.
In a statement, Majors’ rep denied the allegations, saying, “He has done nothing wrong.” We hope to clear his name and clear this up.”

The photos taken Saturday night appear less than 12 hours after the actor’s arrest.
In the pictures, the ‘Love Craft Country’ star is seen wearing a long black coat and black pants and is hidden under his mask, cap and umbrella.
In one photo, the actor is surrounded by several security guards and police officers as he walks down the street to leave the courthouse.
The situation behind the release of Majors is unknown at this time.
DailyMail.com contacted New York court officials for information but did not hear back by press time.
While speaking to police, the woman told police that she and Majors got into an argument and he proceeded to “attack” her. The nature of their relationship is currently unknown.
According to a source who spoke to TMZ, the victim had visible injuries to her body, including a “laceration behind her ear, redness and marks on her face.”
The actor was immediately handcuffed and taken to jail, as police “felt there was enough evidence for probable cause.”
Following the altercation, the alleged victim was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Troopers were called to the scene at 11:14 a.m. near the intersection of West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue in the Chelsea area of Manhattan.
“A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman,” an NYPD statement read.

The news comes on the heels of several blockbusters the actor has starred in recently, including “Creed III” as well as Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
He played Damian Anderson in ‘Creed III’ against director and co-star Michael B. Jordan. He also played the Marvel villain Kang the Conquerer in ‘Ant-Man’.
Majors was also in attendance at the Oscars earlier this month and was one of many presenters.
He took the stage with his co-star Michael B. Jordan to present the award for best cinematography.
He also starred in “Magazine Dreams,” which debuted at Sundance last month.
The actor will soon star in an upcoming spin-off: ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’. The next Marvel movie is scheduled to be released on March 2, 2025.
