Jonathan Majors denies any wrongdoing after being arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman in New York City.
The 33-year-old Creed III star was arrested Saturday morning on charges of “strangulation, assault and harassment” according to TMZ.
However, his representative has denied the accusations saying: “He has done nothing wrong.” We hope to clear his name and clear this up.”
The alleged victim, a woman, told police that Majors argued with her and proceeded to “attack” her. The nature of their relationship is currently unknown.
According to a source who spoke to the publication, the alleged victim had visible injuries on his body, including a “laceration behind the ear, redness and marks on his face.”

Following the alleged altercation, she was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the actor was immediately handcuffed and taken to jail, as police “felt there was sufficient evidence for probable cause.”
Police officers were called to the scene around 11 a.m. near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
The Santa Barbara-born artist is reportedly now out of custody.
Meanwhile, the NYPD issued a statement to the wrapper which read: ‘A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. The victim informed the police that she was assaulted. Officers took the 33-year-old man into custody without incident.
The news comes on the heels of several blockbusters the actor has recently starred in, including Creed III opposite Michael B. Jordan, as well as Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The actor was also in attendance at the Oscars earlier this month and was one of many presenters.
