Joe Jonas revealed on Wednesday that he has new solo music right around the corner.
The Jonas Brothers singer, 34, shared with fans on Instagram that he will be releasing a solo single, titled Work It Out, on Friday, July 19.
The single is a prelude to an upcoming solo studio album, which Joe revealed while chatting with Jake Shane on Thursday’s episode of his podcast. Therapy.
His announcement came shortly after his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift transformed the breakup song she wrote inspired by their relationship, Last Kiss, into a mashup with his song Sad Beautiful Tragic at an Eras Tour concert in Zurich, Switzerland, on Tuesday night.
“I’m excited and thrilled as I get ready to release new music,” Joe shared on Instagram.

The single is a prelude to an upcoming solo studio album, which Joe revealed while chatting with Jake Shane on Thursday’s episode of his Therapuss podcast.
“I’m honored and grateful to collaborate with some of my favorite musicians and creators. I hope you find as much happiness and peace as I do when you listen to these songs,” he added.
Joe shared the announcement via a short video of a sculpted, tree-covered mountain overlooking seaside buildings.
The singer-songwriter delved further into his upcoming single and original album while speaking on Therapuss.
“I wrote this song with this amazing writer named Blush and Jason Evigan, who worked on pretty much 90 percent of the music you hear, and we wrote it really quickly, but the idea is that sometimes you realize you just have to shake something off and you’re the only person who’s going to fix it for yourself, no one’s going to come save you,” she explained about Work It Out.
“But they’re also emotional lyrics with fun music,” she continued, adding that she’ll likely release “a few more songs” as advance singles.
He didn’t have many details about the upcoming album, but said it would be released later in 2024.
Joe also teased a stylistically diverse album with “music that’s all over the place” to appeal to many different tastes.
“There are some really beautiful ballads, there are songs about being a father, there are songs about love, there are songs about being better to yourself, basically everything,” he said.
It is unclear whether the new album will focus heavily on his ongoing divorce from ex-wife Sophie Turner, from whom he filed for divorce in September last year.
He and the 28-year-old Game Of Thrones actress share two daughters: Willa, three, and Delphine, one.
Though he’s been recording music as a member of the Jonas Brothers for nearly two decades, his upcoming album is only his second effort following his 2011 debut, Fastlife.

The LP proved to be a disappointing start to Joe’s solo career. Although it received moderately positive reviews, it had mediocre success and sales.
After failing to make a significant cultural impact, Joe returned to focusing on his career with the Jonas Brothers.
However, the band split up in 2013, before reuniting in 2019. That year, the group released the chart-topping album Happiness Begins.
Last year they released their sixth studio album, cheekily titled The Album, which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
