Jon Hamm enjoys the sunny LA weather in shorts and sandals as he takes an afternoon stroll with his beloved dog Splash
He is currently preparing for the July 2 release of the much-delayed action movie Top Gun: Maverick.
And while that movie and many others in Hollywood are on the line because of the pandemic, it looks like Jon Hamm is enjoying his time out of the spotlight.
On Wednesday, the 50-year-old Mad Men star was pictured in Los Angeles walking his beloved dog Splash.

Hamm cut a very casual figure wearing a bright red T-shirt and sleeveless black puff jacket during his time with his rescue pup.
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actor continued his spring ensemble with gray shorts that hit just above his knees and a set of black sandals.
He finished off his look with aviator-style sunglasses and a blue cap with the first initials of his last name, as well as an Apple Watch.
While the actor seemed to be taking it easy on his walk, he is currently gearing up for the highly anticipated release of Top Gun: Maverick.

In the sequel to the much-loved 1986 movie Top Gun, Hamm plays Vice Admiral Cyclone, who will clash heads with star Tom Cruise’s character, Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell.
Other actors who will round out the cast include Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris, among countless others.
Val Kilmer will also reprise his role from the original film as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky.
Top Gun: Maverick was initially set to debut in the summer of 2019, although it was later moved to June of the following year.
The film suffered several more delays due to post-production issues and the onset of the global pandemic, before finally premiering on July 2, 2021, where it currently stands.

In an interview with KSDKSpeaking about his expectations for the upcoming movie, Hamm said that while the movie will feature high-flying action, it will also have an emotional core.
‘It will leave a lot of people dumbfounded, I guess … It’s really visually stunning. And I think people will be moved by the story too, ”he said.
The Baby Driver actor also recalled his experience watching the film in the post-production phase, noting that he was grateful for the opportunity to see the film in person rather than having to show it at home.
He commented, “I’ve been lucky enough to see it in the summer. They opened a theater for us and we all had to sit 5 meters apart and wear masks and stuff, but we had to see it on the big screen, and that’s the right way to see it. ‘
