Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has had his fair share of flirtations.
The rocker, 62, hinted that he had been with a hundred women in his life while speaking on the ABC special. Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway there.
Reflecting on his marriage to wife Dorothea Hurley and marrying her after achieving superstar status, Jon admitted that he “got away with it.”
“It had to be difficult for a relationship,” Michael said. “You’re young,” he continued, adding that the Livin’ On A Prayer singer was considered “a sex symbol.”
“I got away with it,” Jon replied. “I’m a rock and roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m not saying there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. He was pretty good!”

‘But do you think I’m ever going to jeopardize my thing by believing the narcissist in me was real?’ What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excess does a man need to fuel that fire? Not worth it.’
It comes after Jon admitted he wasn’t always “a saint” during his 35-year marriage to wife Dorothea, whom he met at high school in 1980.
While speaking about his longtime love, the rocker praised her “tolerance” toward his demanding touring schedule.
“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom,” he said. The independent. “It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but also never being so stupid as to (ruin) family life.”
Furthermore, he attributed their lasting union to a “mutual admiration society and the luck of having grown up together.”
Four days after the interview, Dorothea was absent from a screening of her husband’s documentary series Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story last week.
But the rocker’s representative clarified that she could not attend because she had contracted COVID. “As of this morning, she feels well and recovered,” his representative said. Page six on Saturday.
Previously, Jon sang about regretting his past dalliances on the road in his 1993 track, Bed of Roses.
In 2007, he explained that because of his career he had to miss “lots of birthdays and school plays.”
“I’ve been in one of the biggest rock bands in the world for 25 years, and I’m not and haven’t been a saint,” he told Best Life magazine at the time. “It’s not like Dorothea arrived halfway through the movie and she didn’t know who she’d run into.”
He went on to reveal that despite his busy job, he has always been committed to his wife, whom he married at Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas in 1989, and their children.

“I don’t look at this week’s hottest star and think about switching or moving up,” he said. ‘I don’t have a lover by my side or another family on the other side of the city. You’ll never read that story about me. I have no respect for that whole lifestyle.
The lovebirds share four children: Stephanie, 30; Jesse, 28; Jake, 21 years old; and Romeo, 19.
Previously, the Grammy winner said People that he “was immediately attracted” to his wife “the moment” he saw her.
“And that has never changed, 40 years ago,” he said in 2020.

The couple originally met in 1980 while attending Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, where the Runaway singer confessed that she let him “fool her into the story.”
‘I always said I was also good at spotting potential. I have a gift,’ Dorothea joked. ‘He is cute. I’m superficial. I admit it!’
Jon added: “We enjoyed each other and never fell into the traps of what celebrities can do.”
“We have witnessed what happened over the years with people close to us and with people we knew from afar,” he concluded. ‘It’s just what I do, it’s not who I am. I write songs. Turns out I’m really good at playing them. That’s all.’

During his latest interview, the rock star also praised his son Jake’s engagement to 20-year-old Millie Bobby Brown.
While he was initially “unaware” of his future daughter-in-law’s work on Stranger Things, which propelled her to fame when she was just 12, he noted that he admires “her work ethic.”
‘Millie is a movie star. We just went to the premiere of Damsel with her and Jake just released her first movie. “I’m happy for him,” the father of four gushed.
Brown and Jake got engaged in April 2023 after two years of dating.
During his interview, the rock star also praised his son Jake’s engagement to Millie Bobby Brown (seen at the Netflix premiere of his film Damsel in New York City).
“They’re two young people chasing a dream together, so we support it, because our hope for them (and Millie’s parents’ hope for them, because Bob and Kelly Brown also met when they were very little) is that the children will grow up together,” the legendary musician said of the duo.
He continued, “Anything after that is out of the control of the four of us as parents, but they are good kids.” They will figure it out.
Although Brown previously said Jon would not be performing at their wedding, he joked that he would most likely take the stage at some point.
“You know, I highly doubt his word on the matter,” he mused. ‘We’ll see! It depends on how much wine I drink before I get to the moment when she shoves the microphone in my face.
