This was the first time the Blurt star was seen in public after lip syncing with Meghan Trainor’s mother on TikTok on Wednesday in a video explaining his experience with his boss after coming out as gay just over two years ago, that many of his fans interpreted. Like it was Nickelodeon.
‘Story time: January 2021, I go out into the world. The company I work for told me they needed a meeting with me as soon as possible,” Siwa wrote. ‘During this meeting, the PRESIDENT of the company negatively asked me “What are you going to say to your young demographic?”‘
JoJo did not name the company, though fans were quick to suggest it was Nickelodeon, where she had been working for several years since leaving Dance Moms.

“However, ever since I came out, a lot of adults tell me, ‘I wish I had someone like you when I was younger.’ Which reminds me every time I did the right thing and never let ANYONE change who you are.
He added a caption below that read, “If that meeting was today I would literally hit play this song.”
A Nickelodeon spokesperson told WhatsNew2Day.com when asked for comment: “We don’t know which incident or meeting JoJo is referring to, but it certainly didn’t happen on Nickelodeon.”
