Jojo Siwa’s fans didn’t take kindly to her frequent posts in which she joked that she was pregnant.
The 19-year-old social media star — who recently appeared to claim Nickelodeon responded poorly to her exit — left her followers scratching their heads after sharing multiple photos and videos throughout March that seemed to suggest she was pregnant.
But she also shut down the pregnancy rumors, stating that his posts were supposed to be just harmless jokes.
Many fans found the ongoing series of posts “very disrespectful and insensitive,” though Jojo doesn’t seem to have responded to any fan backlash yet.
However, she seems to have dumped any pregnancy-related question on her Snapchat Story as of March 27, where she made it clear that she doesn’t plan on having children until later in life, via inside.

She added that being gay also meant that adoption was a more viable solution for her in the future.
Jojo’s posts began joking about pregnancy this month, though many fans pointed out that she’s apparently been celibate since December, when she split from TikTok star Avery Cyrus.
Earlier in March, JoJo posted a photo to Snapchat in which she pulled up a hoodie and placed her hands on her stomach, captioning the misleading photo: “I can’t believe it.”
She followed that up with a photo of herself looking like she was shopping for baby clothes, though the posts have since disappeared.
Some fans were shocked by these posts, while others understood that they were most likely jokes.
Even as some of her followers worried that she was too young to bear a child, more reasonable posters acknowledged that the dancer was likely pregnant with a “baby boy.”
Jojo later shared a TikTok video responding to the concerns.
Although she didn’t say a word, she reposted a video of someone worried she might be pregnant, before cutting to her new clip and starting to laugh, as if the original post was ridiculous.
But JoJo continued to excite her fans. She returned with another post later in March, in which she grabbed her stomach and wrote, “TEAM BOY OR TEAM GIRL,” according to Insider.
In a Snapchat video posted on March 27, the reality star chimed in with her friend, dancer Ezra Sosa.

A later photo showed him groping her stomach, captioning it, “Father of my baby!!! :)”
JoJo continued the ruse by posting baby clothes and supplies again, though she later went back to Snap to say that she wanted to treat any of her fans who were expecting by buying them the baby supplies she was browsing.
She also shut down pregnancy rumors for good in a video later in the day in which she opened up about how her sexuality affects her likelihood of having biological children in the future.
“It’s not unusual how I’m going to end up having kids one day,” she said.
“Biologically, to have children, you need a male and a female, and children are watching this, so I’m not going to talk about how to have children, but children are born male and female,” she continues, adding, “There will never be that significant other in my life.”
Then she said she would likely look into a sperm donation in the future when she had a partner, or could adopt.
However, these options were “too far” for her.
“I have accepted that the universe wants me to be single now,” she said.
Despite multiple clarifications, fans still found her pregnancy jokes tasteless. “Isn’t” anyone else that thinks it is very disrespectful and insensitive for Jojo Siwa to pretend to be pregnant????? wrote one person on Twitter.
